NOTICE TO PUBLISHERS
Grades 1 - 3 call for re-submissions for isiNdebele, isiXhosa, SiSwati and Tshivenda
In the evaluation of textbooks for the Grades 1 - 3 national catalogue, no suitable books were found in certain categories for four subjects, namely isiNdebele, isiXhosa,SiSwati and Tshivenda.
Consequently the department is now calling for submissions for the four above mentioned subjects. The submission parameters as outlined in the 2011 invitation will also apply for this round of submissions. Publishers are requested to note the following:

The system will open for registration of titles between 09:00 on 20 February 2012 – 16:00 on 24 February 2012.
The window period for the correction of all data on registered submissions will be from 27 February 2012 – 2 March 2012.
Payment of fees of R6000 per pack will be paid in at the Finance Section of the department between 09:00 on 5 March 2012 – 15:00 on 9 March 2012.
Submission of registered and paid for packs for screening will be between 09:00 on 22 March 2012- 16:00 on 23 March 2012. Publishers will be informed of the venue for submission. Please note that ONLY complete packs will be screened and packaging requirements as indicated on the LTSM website will apply.
