10/10 to 11/13 / Unit 2:
Multiplication and Division Concepts / Investigations 3: Books 1 & 3 / 3.OA7, OA1, OA2, OA3, OA4, NBT5, NBT6 / NBT5 and NBT6 are mostly covered in Unit 4, but are introduced here.
11/14 to 12/22 / Unit 3:
Multiplication and Division Operations / Investigations 3: Books 3 & 7 / NBT5, NBT6, OA3, MD2 / DELAY 1.1 and 1.2 until Unit 7 unless necessary for rest of unit.
1/2 to 1/26 / Unit 4a:
Fraction Concepts / Investigations 3: Book 6 & CGI book / NF1, NF2 / SKIP ALL DECIMAL LESSONS
Use Equal Sharing problems from CGI book chapters 1 to 2 and equivalence problems from chapter 6.
1/29 to 3/9 / Unit 4b:
Fraction Computation / Investigations 3: Book 6 & CGI book & EngageNY / NF3, NF4, MD4 / Use Multiple Groups problems from CGI book chapter 3.
3/12 to 3/29 / Unit 5:
Measurement & Geometry / Investigations 3: Book 4 / 3.MD4, MD3, MD5, MD6, MD7, G1, G2, G3 / 3.MD.4 is a grade 3 May/June standard, so it needs to be reviewed. MD1 and MD2 are grade 4 May/June standards, so delay the lessons on measurement conversions until Unit 7. (This unit has added days to account for ELA test.)
4/9 to 4/30 / Test Prep Review / Ready Practice Test Books / Three weeks for test prep review this year because it includes ELA test days.
5/4 to 5/11 / Math Projects / Math Project Book / Limit the math projects to the 6 dates allotted.
5/14 to 6/8 / Unit 6: Decimals / Engage New York Module 6 Investigations 3: Book 6 decimal lessons / NF.5, NF.6, NF.7
6/12 to 6/26 / Unit 7:
Measurement & Data / Investigations: Book 2 / OA3, OA5, NBT3, NBT5, NBT6 / Begin this unit with the delayed lessons from Unit 4/Book 7 and Unit 5/Book 4.
