GRAD NITE 2018 TICKET/PERMISSION FORM

On June 13, 2018, over 650 seniors will graduate from Huntington Beach High School (HBHS). Parent volunteers, are planning an all-night celebration for our graduates the night they graduate. Our purpose is to provide asafe and sober environment for these deserving young people. Plans call for non-stop entertainment, food, games, and prizes. Check-inis at 8:30 PM at the Student Center. Buses will take graduates from HBHS to the eventlocation and bring them back to the school atapproximately 5:00 AM the next day. The location is kept secret for safety reasons, but we promise that it will be a great night for our seniors.

We have carefully read and signed this agreement and fully understand its contents. We are aware that this is a release of liability and a contract between the Grad Nite committee, Huntington Beach Union High School District (HBUHSD), its board members, employees, agents and volunteers from any and all claims or liability resulting from or arising out of Grad Nite activities. All graduates will follow the same Code of Conduct rules that are enforced during school activities. We understand this venue will observe a zero tolerance policy and that each student will be searched for illegal and inappropriate items. Only seniors from Huntington Beach High School may attend Grad Nite. Transportation to and from the venue will be provided to all students, no exceptions will be made during the night of the event. If other arrangements must be made, contact the Grad Nite Chairperson 72 hours in advance for approval. There will be no exceptions during the evening other than an emergency. If a student comes to Grad Nite 2018 “under the influence,” parents will be called to pick up. Only a parent can pick up a student.
