The Catholic Diocese of St. Petersburg, Office of Youth & Young Adult Ministry, is very excited to announce:

THEGOOD SAMARITAN PROJECT FOR SUMMER 2015

**New for 2015**– The High School and Middle School Programs will occur at the same time and in the same place, but each will work and serve separately.

High School- Sunday, July 5th through Saturday, July 11th- Cost - $225.00

Middle School – Monday, July 6th through Saturday, July 11th- Cost - $225.00

“The Good Samaritan Project” is a service program and a retreat, specifically designed for middle and high school students. Itfocuses on helping the Church’s Youth to recognize their role within the communitywhile demonstrating the impact ofCatholic Social Justice in their lives.During the week weparticipate in a variety of Service Experiences, Daily Mass, Reconciliation and Adoration.

If you are graduating from high schoolat the end of this school year or have already graduated, we ask you to consider taking on a leadership role for 2015. During the GSP week, you will be asked to lead small groups, assist in prayer and other spiritual exercises and help motivate the teams for service activities. To be considered for this opportunity, please follow these steps:

  • Complete the following three essay questions.
  • Provide a Letter of Recommendation from your Youth Minister, Campus Minister or Pastor.
  • Complete the Application below and submit no later than March 31, 2015. (Our address information is on the bottom of the application.)

**Previous Participation in a GSP week is NOT a prerequisite for a leadership position

***By submitting your application you agree to work with either the Middle School or High School Program. (Your participation will be decided based on your application information.)
