Good morning! We are down to the final four days of the school year. I hope that your children have enjoyed their school year at Sagewood. This last week will be full with many activities so please make sure that your child comes prepared for these events. For track and field and also fun day, please make sure that he/she comes with sunscreen already applied and bring a water bottle. Thank you for another successful school year and all of the support that you have given!

Track and Field: Track and field is rescheduled for May 22ndat Grandview Middle School. This activity is for our 3rd-5th graders and will consist of field and running events. Students are asked to bring a sack lunch that day. The students will begin at 9:30 and end at 2:45. All parents and families are welcome to cheer on their kids.

Fun Day: This school wide event will take place on May 23rd from 8:45-2:30. Sack lunches from Sodexo will be available or students may bring their own sack lunches. The Sodexo sack lunch will consist of a hotdog, chips, carrots, an apple, and a rice crispy treat. There will be 18 stations and a 45-minute break for lunch. If the weather does not permit us to be outside, we will have a condensed version inside of the school.

Awards Assembly: The Awards Assembly is a time that we recognize the efforts of our students for citizenship, attendance, academics, and fitness. The start time for this is 9:00. Because much of the awards are focused upon our 3rd-5th activities, the K-2 students will be given their awards within the first part of the assembly and the 3rd-5th graders will receive their awards following that.

Library Books: Thank you to all of you for making such good use of the library materials this school year. Just a reminder that we need ALL LIBRARY BOOKS returned before REPORT CARDS will be released. Thank you for your prompt return of the library books! Also, suggested summer reading lists will be included in the report cards for each student. Enjoy summer reading and remember to check out your local library for books and summer events.
