Syllabus

Week 1- Love and Faithfulness Snack Necklace. The children will learn about God’s love and faithfulness from Proverbs 3. We will talk about other examples of love and faithfulness and then we will make an edible necklace.

Week 2- Fruit of the Spirit Pizza. The children will learn about the fruits of the Spirit from Galations 5;22-23. We will make a fruit topped pizza.

Week 3- Rock N Roll Ice Cream. We will talk about why when we God wants us to be patient. Then we will play a game that requires patience and the result will be ice cream!

Week 4- Good Samaritan Peach Treat. We will talk about Romans 12: 20 and the story of the Good Samaritan, Luke 10:25-37 and how God wants us to care for our enemies. Then we will make a peachy drink to share.

Week 5- Hidden Sins. The children will learn about how God can see even the sins we try to hide. Then we will make a brownie with a hidden treat to illustrate. The we will play a hiding game.

Week 6- Caramel Dip. The children will learn about sharing the gospel with others through sowing seeds of truth and being patient using parable of the Sower in Mark 4: 26-29. Then we will enjoy a snack of apples and fruit dip..

Week 7- Peanutty Pop-ins. The children will learn the verse “A friend loves at all times” Proverbs 17:17 and the story of Jonathan and David in 1 Samuel. Then we will make a treat with two tried and true friends- peanut butter and jelly!

Week 8 – Crumbs of Earth. Today we will learn about how we must have faith that Jesus will answer our prayers and help us through the story of the woman Jesus healed in Mark 7:24-30. Then we will make a pudding treat to eat.

Week 9- God Made Us Special Face Cakes. The children will learn about who made them and loves them with everlasting love. We will draw pictures of our family and then make a tasty treat to eat.

Week 10- Mashed Potato Candy. We will learn about being content in every situation using the story of Paul in jail in Acts 21: 27-36 and Philippians 4:12. Then we will make a candy treat to eat.

Week 11- Good Fruit Salad. The children will learn how to tell what a person is really like….from their fruit! The we will make a fruit salad treat to eat.

Week 12- Angel Frost. We will learn about the angels who announced Jesus birth through the story in Luke 2:8-14. Then we will make a special drink to share.
