4.STICK A COTTON SHEET

(When you use the cotton sheet at the cell)

5.SPREAD A CLOTH TO A CELL

6.PUT LEGS TO THE SOFA

4.5 ~ 5 hours.

1. MAKE SLITS

* cut along a blue lines and red lines of the sofa base by a design,and make slits.

* cut 2 or 3 times at the same line, and make deep slit.

2. CUT COTTON SHEETS

* cut cotton sheets with paper patterns

* If you like a swelling shape, stack cotton sheets

(Recommendation: triple stack for ⑥ and ⑦, double stack for ④ and ⑤)

* You can choose that you don’t use the cotton sheetfor cell ①,②,③,⑧,⑨ and ⑩.

*the cotton sheet is notused for cell ⑪.

3.CUT CLOTHS

* cut cloths with paper patterns

* there is no paper pattern for cell ⑪.(Use sofa base itself)

4.STICK A COTTON SHEET

* put double-stick tape on each cell.

* The double-stick tape glues the sofa base and cotton sheet together.

* Andhereby, cotton sheet don’t slip off when you are tuckingcloth.

* Stick a cotton sheet (or stacked cotton sheets) to a cell of sofa base.

* The outline of the cotton sheetshould be4~5mm inside of the slit.

* If the cotton sheet is too large, cut (adjust) it with scissors.

5.SPREAD A CLOTH TO A CELL

(1)Cover a cell of sofa base with apiece of cloth, and check a position.

(2)Press cloth with fingers to keep tension.

(3)Tuck a side of cloth into a slit.

(4)Cut off the cloth which protruded

(5)Tuck in again

(6)Repaet (2)~(5) for each side

Troubleshooting :

Restoration of widened slit

It is easy to restore widened slit.

① Make a sliced chip of styrene board.

② Insert the tip into widened slit.

6. PUT LEGS TO THE SOFA

(1) Drill holes in four corners of the bottom

(2) Stab legs with woodwork bond.

(3) Inspect a wobble, and adjust it.

7. FINISH
