Thu 8th DEC : Chobham Common : 5m Enjoy a moderate, mainly level walk over heathland and woodland in the Chobham Common Nature Reserve and visiting the Victorian War Memorial. Thu 15th DEC : Newlands Corner and the North Downs Way : 5m Circular walk through woodland, nature reserves, part of North Downs Way and Shere. Undulating, one ascent and can be muddy in places. Thu 5th JAN : Chobham Common : 4m Start by lily-covered pond, through varied woodland to Chobham Common, a Site of Special Scientific Interest. Level walk, a few stiles, can be muddy. Tue 10th JAN : Richmond Park-Isabella Plantation Woodland : 4½m Varied, undulating walk through open grassland, woods & woodland gardens. A few gentle slopes and one short, steeper slope. May be muddy and uneven in places. Use of poles in Plantation may be restricted. Refreshments afterwards.
