Description:Being able to read horses is one of the greatest skills a horseman can have. It tells you what approach you need to take, and helps resolve problems quickly. Stage 1 is the important foundation of where 'horse savvy' begins, creating a positive balance of trust and respect, eliminating many common problems and safety issues. You'll learn to play the 7 patterns horses play with one another, break down the prey-predator barrier, create a language with which to communicate with your horse and teach your horse on the ground the things you want him to understand when you are on his back. Learn powerful strategies for building confidence in both the horse and the rider.
Riders Earlybird Special:Pre-register by June 15, 2013 for $360 + GST and receive one complimentary spectator pass to the clinic to give away or sell. Savings of $40!
Riders Regular Price:Registration after June 15, 2013, $400 + GST, with a $200 non-refundable deposit required at thetime of booking, balance to be paid in full by August 31,2013 (post dated cheque preferred at time of booking).

Arena The clinic will be held at the home of Ron & Candice Tkachuk in the outdoor arena.
StablingOutside Pens are available, faciliy fee of $10 per night.
Check in between 3-6 pm the day before, or 8 amthe day of the clinic.
- Please bring your own feed, buckets, water buckets, forks, etc.
- Please clean your own pens.
Start TimeStart time will be 9:00 am. Riders need to be in the arena without their horses but have their horses ready to bring in to the arena with halter and lead. Approx end time will be 4:30ish pm (we’re on horse time)
Lunch Breaks & Potluck Supper
We will break for lunch for about an hour and a half. WaterValley Saloon, Trails End Pizza and the Aspen Café are approx 10 minutes away in WaterValley or you are welcome to bring a lunch.
Tack & Equipment
Please bring a halter and lead. It is not a requirement but we do recommend that you bring a horseman’s stick & string, halter & lead. Should you decide you would like to have this, Horse Ranch Natural Horsemanship Equipment & Tack will be available for purchase at the clinic or can be pre-ordered at or call toll free 1 877 728 8987.
