Glamour Pre-profile Questions & Script
“Hi ______, this is ______and I understand you are a friend of ______’s(hostess name). Do you have a quick minute?(pause) Great! I’ll be conducting ______’s glamour care class on ______and I just have a few quick questions to ask you so that I can best prepare:
- Have you ever used Mary Kay? Are you using it now? (If so, do you have a current Consultant?)
(you only need to ask this if she is not currently one of your customers)
- What is your skin type? Normal to Dry or Combination to Oily?
(use this question if this is the customers first appointment with you. If this is also their second appointment with you skip to question 3)
- How are your skin care products currently working for you? Is there anything that we may need to tweak?
(Again, use this question if you have already done a skin care facial with them. If something isn’t quit working the right way, see what needs to be adjusted and tell her you will either set up a delivery time or bring the items to the next party. If she is exchanging, make sure she knows that this will be of no cost to you..sometimes they don’t want to exchange items for that exact fear)
- What color are your eyes?
(this will help you pick out eye colors that will really make them pop!)
- Is there any glamour product that you are just dying to try?
(sometimes you will get answers like, “I have always wanted to try red lipstick.” When she tells you that, you can put that product into her glamour goody bag for her to take home and try out)
Great! That’s all the questions I have for you! We will get started at ______on ______so if you could arrive a few minutes early that we can get you seated and set up. And everyone who arrives a few minutes early will receive a pampering satin hands treatment! Sound good? Great!
(Optional) Oh! One more thing, ______is working to receive FREE products so if you can think of any friends that might want to join you, I’ll give you a FREE eye shadow of your choice just for helping her out! Just make sure you let me know if you’re bringing someone.
