An alternative fundraiser
The Cleveland Middle School PTSO would like to welcome all new and returning students and families back to school!
Cleveland Middle School PTSOwill be having a“Just Give Fundraiser”as our 2013-2014 fall fundraiser in lieu of selling merchandise.We are asking each family to make a monetary donation to The Cleveland Middle School PTSO. This type of fundraiserallows our school to keep 100% of the funds raised. Cleveland Middle School is a non-profit school and all donations are tax deductible.
With budget cuts continuing to affect our schools, it’s necessary for the PTSO to raise money to assist in the education of our children. Through membership dues and fundraising efforts the PTSO is able to support our children’s education and the teachers who instruct them. Funding is needed to provide classroom supplies, teacher requests and school improvement. In addition to these items, the school is in need of replacing 25 computers in the computer lab. We also need 30 Chromebooks and storage cart. The purchase of computers and Chromebooks will help the school meet the county wide goal to have all testing completed online.
Our goal is to raise approximately $35,000 through the “Just Give Fundraiser.” We understand that times are tough and any amount you feel comfortable giving toward our schools fall fundraising effort will be greatly appreciated. A donation of just $25 per family would put us well on our way of meeting our goal. Please invite family and friends to donate as well. Any donation would be much appreciated.
Please complete the attached letter along with your donation and return it to yourchild’s/children’s homeroom teacher in theenvelope provided by Thursday, September 30.Checks can be made payable to Cleveland Middle School PTSO.
We hope that each family will be able to participate and provide financial support for our children’s education. They are worth it! Thank you!
