NOTES : -

We are all very thankful for the relationship that we have been able to maintain with Kinkaid andto be in their theater for our rehearsals. We have not been made aware of any new rules and regulations, but we are certain that at least NO FOOD IN THE AUDITORIUM ! will prevail. If there are any special parking restrictions you will be notified.

The schedule reflects the high degree of planning on the part of our directors. When necessary, changes or additions will be made with sufficient notice given to all concerned.

Note that we scheduled around Father’s Day, giving everyone off. The July 4th holiday falls on a Monday so we are not rehearsing on just that day. I would like to entertain that instead of rehearsing on July 3 that we adjust the schedule to use Thursday and Friday, June 30 and July 1 instead. We frequently have people who wish to use a holiday weekend for travel or special events. We can have the same amount of rehearsal time by moving to Thursday and Friday and still give 3 days for people to do holiday things. Brian

Alistair, Brian, and the production committee stress the importance that NO ONE MISSES ANY REHEARSALS ONCE BLOCKING STARTS. REHEARSALS WILL BEGIN AT THE TIMES SCHEDULED. LATE ARRIVAL CAN BE DETRIMENTAL TO THE SHOW. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY TO BE IN YOUR PLACE AT THE APPOINTED TIME.

SPECIAL NOTES FROM ALISTAIR –

Please wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty as there is a lot of sitting around on the floor.

Note that in order to facilitate rehearsals the dialogue session for principals and understudies has been moved to the Thursday before the start of blocking.

Principals and Chorus are expected to be “off book” for all rehearsals on stage, both Music and Dialogue. A music memorization schedule will be provided at the first rehearsal after auditions – April 24. June music rehearsals leading up to blocking rehearsals will include more and more singing from memory until the entire show is to be sung from memory on June 17.

All understudies areinvited to attend rehearsals where their principal is called unless this conflicts with side room chorus work.
