APPLICANT ELIGIBILITY
Any Indian-American organization/association which satisfies all of the following criteria is eligible for Regular membership with voting rights in NFIA elections.
- The organization/association has been in operation in the USA for minimum of One Year
- Functions under a duly written Constitution/Bylaws
- Elects its officers at regularly held meetings as laid down in its Constitution/Bylaws
- Is a “Not-for Profit” organization/association
- Subscribes to the objectives of NFIA Constitution/Bylaws
- Has minimum of 25 members
REQUIREMENT FROM NEW APPLICANTS FOR REGULAR MEMBERSHIP
As prescribed in the NFIA Bylaws, an organization/association seeking NEW (Regular) Membership to the NFIA shall submit its application on the prescribed form along with the following documents:
1A copy of the Articles of Incorporation and/or its Constitution and Bylaws [ ]
2A current list of elected officers, their term of office, titles, mailing and e-mail addresses and phone numbers (if other than as mentioned under the “Executive Committee Members”) [ ]
3A certificate on the association letterhead, signed by the president and the secretary, indicating the total number of current paid members of the association [ ]
4Membership fee of $50.00 by the organizational/association check [ ]
