APPLICATION FOR GHANA ENTRY PERMIT/VISA: LETTER OF INTRODUCTION
I write to introduce Thomas (Tom) Goehl and to request your assistance in the issuance of a visa to enable him travel to Ghana.

The Ghana Medical Journal (GMJ) is a partner in the African Journals Partnership Project (AJPP). The AJPP provides support to African health journals to enable scientific publication and dissemination of research findings. The AJPP is supported by the US National Library of Medicine, the Fogarty International Centre, USA and the Council of Science Editors. The partnership consists of six African journals (including the Ghana Medical Journal) and six established medical journals in the USA and the United Kingdom.

The Ghana Medical Journal is hosting the Annual AJPP Review meeting in Accra from the 25-26 April 2013. The annual meeting will be preceded by a technical workshop on the 23 and 24 April 2013. The venue of the meetings is the conference facility of the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeons (GCPS) at 54 Independence Avenue, Ridge, Accra.

Thomas (Tom) Goehl, AJPP Co-Director, and his journal are also partners to one of the African journals in the partnership. He is attending the meeting in both capacities. We expect her in Accra on or about 23 April and depart on the 29 April 2013. He will stay at the Ghana College of Physicians and Surgeon conference facility in Accra.

While in Ghana, Thomas (Tom) Goehl will be the guest of the Ghana Medical Journal and the contact person will be:
