Browse the topic hierarchy to view overall content. Search for specific information with the relevancy-ranked search engine. / On the top navigation bar, click the button.
- Browse on the topic hierarchy by clicking down through topic links.
- Search on words or phrases that might occur in the text, OR
- Search on title words, author’s name, publisher or ISBN.

More focused results / Focus your results by restricting the search to a specific collection, a list of books from a previous search, any of the predefined topics or subtopics, the books on your personal bookshelf, or a specific book. Our search technology recognizes your location and automatically presents the appropriate options.Personal bookshelf
Fast and convenient access to frequently referred to books / You can place titles pertinent to your job, projects or interests on your personal bookshelf for quick retrieval.
To add a book to your personal bookshelf, select a book.
On the book’s TOC or on any content page, click on:
Click the button to view your bookshelf.
To remove a book from your bookshelf, click the button to the right of the book.
Bookmarks
Quick and easy return to pertinent sections / You can bookmark any page for quick and easy return to that section. Bookmarking automatically puts the book on your bookshelf.
On any book’s content page, click on:
On the Bookmark page, you have the option to type notes*, share books with colleagues*, or simply add the bookmark to your bookshelf.

Click the button.
When you access your bookshelf, bookmarks are indicated with the symbol.
To edit or remove a bookmark, go to your bookshelf.
Click on the bookmark link.
At the top right of the content page, click on the link to
Edit bookmark or Delete bookmark.
Notes
Personal reference for frequently referred-to sections / You can add notes to any bookmark for personal reference. On the bookmark page, fill in your own bookmark label and add notes:Share content with colleagues
Suggest reading or share information of interest or importance / Selectively share bookmarks and notes with your colleagues. Suggest reading, call attention to specific chapters, write a note, and/or inform them by email.
On the bookmark page, under the ‘Notes’ box, select the colleagues with whom you want to share the bookmark and select ‘Send e-mail notification’ for a system-generated email.

Create a colleague list
Setup a colleague list when none appear on your bookmark page / Click the button on the top toolbar.
Then click the ‘Address Book’ link in the upper left column.
Lookup the user(s) in your subscription.
Select from the matching entries.
Share comments on a book
Give your opinion or comment on a title / Create a comments on a book for yourself or share them with colleagues. Comments are linked from any book’s table of contents.
From any Table of Contents page, click the Comments link.
Then click the Create New Comment link.
Type in comments, select colleagues to share it with, specify whether to send an email to them and then click the button.
Purchase a book
Link to your bookseller / To purchase a book, click the button and Books24x7 will link you to your corporate bookseller.
