Getting started with GPStoGO

Welcome to GPStoGO! Your GPS Tracking system and devices are now ready for use. This document contains tips for getting started, your login information for MyGeoTab, directions to find support documentation and contact information for GPStoGO support.

Logging in to GPStoGO

The following user accounts have been setup for your location. As the Administrator, you can add, remove or edit users as needed.

User Name / Login ID

1.LOG IN at my.geotab.com/ (Note: There are no in this address.)

2.Select "MyGeoTab".

3.Select "MyGeoTab LOGIN".

4.Fill in your LOGIN credentials and select "LOGIN"

Database = TheMaids

User (E-mail) = Your e-mail address which is the Login Information provided by GPStoGO.

Password = password (You will create your own password in the steps below.)

5.Select "Start Full Version"

The first time you sign in to the system on any computer the system will download a small 14 MB file - "Checkmate GPS Software" (takes about 1 minute). Be sure to start the Full Version each time you access GPStoGO in order to view all software options.

6.Select "Administration" then "Change Password"

Complete the information presented to change the password settings. Select OK when finished.

7.If not yet confirmed, contact GPStoGO to establish date and time for your phone training for you and your selected users.

8.Upon receipt of GO5 devices, you may install the devices (see instruction reference below).

GO4 devices (with or without Garmins) require installation by GPStoGO contracted technician. If schedule not yet confirmed, contact GPStoGO to establish date and time for the installation.

Important Note!! Device Serial Number, Vehicle VIN and Vehicle Odometer Readings are included in setting up your devices in MyGeoTab. Be sure to capture this information in the "Customer Profile & Order Request" document found on

10.If you have purchased Garmin devices, be sure to complete the registration and download of Life Time Maps for each Garmin device within the required time limit of purchase. Refer to materials included with your Garmin shipment.
