In 1979 my mom broke her leg, I was born a few weeks later on Valentine’s Day.

In 1994 Forrest Gump was released, I was taunted relentlessly with Forrest’s version of “Jenny”.

In 2008 my second daughter was born while my husband was deployed to Iraq.

In 1988 I was caught laughing at a joke about the substitute teacher, there was no recess that day.

In 2011, almost ten years after earning my BA, I finally found a career I loved; teaching.

In 1992 my parents got a divorce.

In 2000 I meet my future husband. He was a tow-truck driver and I was his dispatcher.

In 1993 I decided to slack off and ruined my GPA for my entire high school career.

In 2005 my first daughter was born while my husband was deployed to Afghanistan.

In 2002 I rolled my mustang 6 times and now I have a metal plate in my left arm. Airports are difficult.

In 1991 I was caught cheating and earned my first, and only, detention.

In 2002 I graduated with my BA in English – Creative Writing with the honor of Cum Laude.

In 1995 I earned a D in Geometry class. I still can’t look at a rhombus or cube or angle.

In 2002 I married my husband while he was on leave from Saudi Arabia.

In 2016 I received the best phone call ever, I landed my first teaching job!

In 1997 I graduated from Sylvania Southview in a class of over 400. I then promptly moved to Florida.

In 2014 I earned my Master’s Degree in Education. I graduated with a GPA of 3.98.

In 1987 my grandma died of cancer and my cat died a day afterwards. It was not a good time.

In 1999 I moved back to Ohio after earning my AA in English in Florida. I don’t tan, I burn.

In 2015 we decided to become chicken farmers. I’m still getting used to the idea.

In 2010 I became my daughter’s Girl Scout Leader and discovered my love for teaching.

In 1986 I went to Disney World for the first time. I have been back 5 times since then.

In 2013 my husband retired from the Army and a year later we moved back to our hometown area.

In 1996 I read Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. I have been obsessed with her ever since.
