Get paid to improve communication in

Adult Community (outpatient) Mental Health Services!

  • Have you or a family member or friend had help from a Department of Health community mental health service in the metropolitan area?
  • Do you have practical ideas about how to improve communication between staff, individuals and family members/carers?

Will you help us with a project to improve communication within mental health services? You will work alongsideHelpingMindsproject officers.

We are keen to have people with Aboriginal and culturally & linguistically diverse (CaLD) heritage working with us on the project.

What’s involved?

We are working with staff at Adult Community Mental Health Services to help them build communication with the family and friends of people using their services. We value your ideas and what you have learned from your experiences. Your role is to give your views on how communication can be improved. We would also like your thoughts on proposed activities such as support groups and resources (like pamphlets and fact sheets).

We will meet in a small group of about six people. You will be paid an hourly rate for your time. Meeting times and location are flexible.
