The Kentucky Academy of Family Physician’s Executive Committee needs your involvement. A standing committee list with a brief synopsis is shown below. Please return in the enclosed envelope. We recognize your time is valuable and as such, we structure our committee meetings as needed. Typically, committees meet as directed by their chairs via conference call and Slack. The agenda is sent in advance of a conference call with the objective of holding the meeting under 50 minutes. The All Member Meeting typically meets annually at the Scientific Assembly for approximately 2 hours.

This committee identifies members’ interests and utilizes mechanisms to advocate for those interests effectively and efficiently using the resources of the KAFP; identifies the needs of our patients and advocates for those interests effectively and efficiently using the resources of the KAFP; and, educates the public, and public, private and governmental agencies about the importance of a "Medical Home."
