Installing Full Version for Windows
Download the Geriatric Report Windows full version to the desktop:
Please click the following link to start the Geriatric Report full version download:
Once the file has finished downloading, open it and press the install button.
It is not necessary to change the install location, the Geriatric Report should be installed on the C drive in the Program Files folder.
If the Geriatric Report is not in the Program Files folder on the C drive, the software may not operate properly.
Installing Full Version for Macintosh
Download the Geriatric Report Macintosh full version to the desktop:

Once the file has finished downloading, the disk image should open on the desktop.
Copy the Geriatric Report X to the Applications folder.
If the Geriatric Report is not in the Applications folder, the software may not operate properly.
Installing Update for Windows
Download the Geriatric Report Update for Windows to the desktop:
Please click the following link to start the Geriatric Report Update for Windows download:
Once the file has finished downloading, open it and press the install button.
It is not necessary to change the install location; the Geriatric Report Update should be installed on the C drive in the Program Files folder.
If the Geriatric Report is not in the Program Files folder on the C drive, the software may not operate properly.
Also, if the Geriatric Report software is not on the C drive in the Program files folder, the update will not install completely.
Installing Update for Macintosh
Download the Geriatric Report Update for Macintosh to the desktop:

Once the file has finished downloading, the file will unpack its self and will be placed the Geriatric Report file on the desktop.
Move the file named Geriatric Report to the Geriatric Report X folder inside the Applications folder.
Upgrading the Server Edition

Download the Geriatric Report Windows Server Update for Windows to the server desktop:
Stop the Geriatric Report Server service or stop the Geriatric Report Server application.
Once the file has finished downloading, open it and press the install button.
After the installation is complete, start the Geriatric Report Server service or Geriatric Report Server application.

Getting Started with Geriatric Report
Starting Geriatric Report for Windows
To start the Geriatric Report software, double-click on the Geriatric Report icon on the desktop.
The Geriatric Report full version installer placed the Geriatric Report icon on the desktop.
Starting Geriatric Report for Macintosh
To start the Geriatric Report software, double-click on the Geriatric Report icon inside the Geriatric Report X folder. For quick access to the Geriatric Report, place the Geriatric Report on the dock.
Geriatric Report Interface
The following areas are available in the Geriatric Report Interface:
- Patients - Track Patient information
- Progress Notes - Track Patient - Progress Notes information
- AddressBook - Track Contacts & Vendors
- Messages - Track Messages (From Patients, Property Owners, Contacts and Vendors)
- Calendar - View events on the schedule, such as Fee Due dates for all Patients.
- Schedule - View Events on the Calendars
- Insurance & Payees - View Insurance Companies and Payees
- Staff - Track Staff members in the organization
- Facilities - Track Facilities & Locations
- DMS / Diagnosis - Track Diagnosis
- CPT Codes - Track CPT Codes
- HCPCS Modifiers - Track HCPCS Modifiers
- Quick Schedule - Quickly enter new and current patients
Quick Patient In-Take - Quick enter new patients into the software
The Geriatric Report is very easy to use and to navigate to different areas of the application.
The Geriatric Report application contains the following modules: Patients, Progress, and Preferences. Addressbook, Forms, Calendar, Schedule, Timeline, Messages, Finance, Insurance & Payee, Staff, and Preferences.
For example, to access Patient Information, click on Patients. This is true for all areas of the application. Use the palette and the menu bar to navigate around the application. The palette and menu bar displays the key areas of the software.
Entering The First Data
Please use the following steps to get started entering data into the Geriatric Report:
- Enter the owner information in the Preferences area.
- Place the owner’s information in the Preferences area; name, address, telephone, and all fields in red.
- Press Save to save the Preferences information.
- Go to the Patients area, and setup the Patients.
- To add a new Patient, press the New Patient button and see a blank Patient screen.
- There is a pull down option on the General tab that will link a client to a property address.
- Enter the clients and the information on the general tab inside clients.
Registering the Geriatric Report
To register the Geriatric Report, click on the Unlock Geriatric Report button on the Registration Window, or go to the Preferences area to the Registration tab. The Preferences area can be found under the View menu item.
Once in the Preferences area, Registration tab. Enter the information on the left side.
Fill in all fields in red.
Make sure to fill in the Company Name, The Name, Address, City, State, Postal Code, Telephone, Email and how did you heard about the Geriatric Report. Then, enter the account number and press the activate account button.
If there are problems with the registration process, contact support via theSupport Portal.
To delete sample clients press the delete button at the bottom.To register the Geriatric Report, click the Unlock Geriatric Report button on the Registration Window or, go to the Preferences area to the Registration tab. The Preferences area can be found under the View menu item. In the Preference area, the Registration tab automatically shows. Enter your the information on the left side.
Fill in all fields in red.
Make sure to fill in the Company Name, The Name, Address, City, State, Postal Code, Telephone, Email and how you heard about the Geriatric Report. Then enter the account number and press the activate account button.
If there are difficulties with the registration process, contact support via the Support Portal.
Preferences - Entering the Information
In the Preferences area, there is a button called "Show Banner
on Reports". If this button is checked the Graphic Banner will
be displayed on reports. If this button is not checked, the
regular company name or organizational name will be
displayed.
To create a banner in the paint program or Photoshop application. The banner must be 600x100.
Show Print Preview - If checked, a print preview will always be displayed before printing.
Show Print Settings - If checked, the print setting option will be shown each time.

Fonts:

The font cannot be changed on the Statement and Invoices. Fonts for the notices, agreements and letters can be changed. Go to the Patients notices tab. All forms created can be edited.
Preferences: Formats
Set the formats for Telephone, Postal Code, SS Number, ID Number, I Number, N Number, and Bank Routing Number.
Preferences: Custom (Custom Fields )
Two custom fields for Patients are available. Enter the field label
and it will appear in the Patient area.
Preferences: Email Settings
To send email from the Geriatric Report, the email settings tab needs
to be filled in with correct SMTP information.
Enter the return email address and SMTP address. The return email address is the email address recipients can respond to the email. The SMTP address is the server address of the SMTP server, The SMTP server sends and delivers email. If there is no authorization needed to send email, please lease SMTP User Name and SMTP Password empty.
Preferences: FTP Settings
FTP Settings is for the Web Statements Module
The Web Statement Module automatically places Patients report on a server, so Patients can access those reports. The reports are real time, the most current information on the account. Any changes that occur on the account are reflected on the reports.
The FTP Settings consist of the following:
- Hostname
- Username
- Password
- Initial FTP Folder
- URL (Website)
Once the settings are entered, pressing the test FTP connection button can test the connection.
Preferences: Splash Screen
The splash screen is the screen that opens in the center, when the software first begins by default. The splash screen consists of a picture of a beach.
This splash screen can be changed to any picture imported into the software.
Preferences: Drop Down Lists
Go to the Preferences area to the Drop Down List tab.
Once you select the list you wish to edit, you can add, modify, delete, and sort elements in the list.
Always press "Save List", after you have made a list modification.
After upgrading the software, press the "Restore List" to restore the saved list.
Preferences: Display & Print Settings
Show Print Preview - If checked, a print preview will always be displayed before Printing.
Show Print Settings - If checked, the print setting option will be shown every time you print.

The Geriatric Report can process the following image types: pic, pct, jpeg, gif, tiff, bit, png, bmp, psd, tga, pntg, tpic and bps.
Download the free QuickTime player. This plug-in will help process more types of images.
If using a digital camera, reduce the image size to reduce the image size. Images should not be larger than 100K.
Preferences: Show Text Information vs. Show Banner
In the Preferences area, there is a button called "Show Banner on Reports". If this button is checked the Graphic Banner will be displayed on reports. If this button is not checked the regular company name or organizational name will be displayed.

Show Print Settings - If checked, the print setting option will show every time print on Reports.
Preferences: Password protection
There is no limit to the amount of users that can be added to the system. Access to Viewing records, Create records, Edit records, Delete records, and Print records can be granted.
Access to different areas of the Geriatric Report software can also be obtained.
In the login screen, only the following names should be displayed by default:
Administrator
Guest_BlankPassword
A) Login as the administrator (password is admin)
B) Click on the Preferences icon on the palette
C) Click on the Edit Users button
D) Highlight the user named John Doe
E) Go to the password menu item and select Edit User
F) Change the users name and password here
G) Only change the name and password, nothing else
Do not rename the administrator user.
If the Password/User list has been created/saved, Please use the following steps to save the User & Password Settings:
A) Go to the Preferences area and press the Edit Users button
B) Then, go to the Passwords menu item and select Save Groups.
C) Name and Save the file.
D) Install the upgrade
E) Then, go back to Preferences/Edit Users and load the user file.
Assign users to groups by dragging and dropping users on the groups being granted access.
If users to groups are not assigned, the user will not have access to those areas of the program. Drag and drop users on the groups being granted access.
Users cannot be deleted only renamed.
