c.  Board of Examiners/CALS – Elimination of Digital Submission Requirements and FOIA

The current status of the Declaratory rulings by the Board of Examiners for Surveyors was discussed. The municipal members of the geospatial council and the chairman of the cadastral subcommittee were asked by Chairperson Wallace of the Geospatial Council to communicate with the Board of Examiners to try to see if the digital submission declaratory ruling could be overturned. This group will meet and come up with a strategy to get this accomplished. The group will report its findings to Chairperson Wallace as well as to the Cadastral Subcommittee.

3.  New Business

a.  Website

Patrick Ladd volunteered to take the lead on reviewing the current website and make recommendations on changes to the site for the next meeting.

Cadastral Production Standard

Mark handed out draft guidelines for several components of the Productions Standard. These were being developed in conjunction with the NECCOG GIS project funded by OPM. The guidance documents included GIS and CAMA audit reports, quality control procedures and town boundary research. These were reviewed and discussed. Mark asked for feedback by the next meeting (January 2011)

b.  Cadastral Publication Standard

The production standard was briefly discussed. The Broadband mapping project is utilizing the publication standard.
