G.A. Fleet Associates, Inc. was established in the mid-1950’s as manufacturer’s representative and is now responsible for engineering, selling and servicing a wide array of equipment that includes pumps, boilers, water heaters, control panels, gas boosters and heat trace just to name a few. G.A. Fleet specializes in plumbing and fire protection pumping systems, as well as municipal water and waste pumping systems and specialty electrical and control systems. Our project list is the Manhattan Skyline.

Our success is a result of the demonstrated ability to provide a complete project for the Contractor, Engineer and Owner. We offer a single source responsibility for designing and providing the appropriate equipment and systems, ensuring that the system functions as it was intended to, and solving any technical issues that may arise.

G.A. Fleet’s territory covers New York, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Technical Services is looking to add on an additional Field Engineer. The Field Engineer/Technician is responsible for inspecting the Equipment and Installation to ensure it meets the requirements of the manufacturer, Start Up, Troubleshooting, Commissioning and Training Sessions for all the equipment that Fleet sells throughout its territory. Field visits are always followed up by typed field reports outlining all the events that took place required for equipment sign-offs and tracking mechanical/electrical equipment failures. Prior mechanical and/or electrical background is desired. Training will be provided using a hands-on approach that will compromise of being paired up with 1/3 Field Engineers on a daily basis. Training typically takes 3-6 months. Professional appearance and attitude is a must since the Field Engineer is the face of the company in the eyes of the engineer, customer and end user.
