Requirements: Investigate the list of resources attached to create a list of careers and possible schools or programs you are interested in applying to next year.

Choose a minimum of 3 schools and prepare the following information in writing. Below is a list of minimal requirements for this assignment.

Tuition & Room and Board - include resident and non-resident costs

Location - including type, i.e. rural, suburban, city.

Size - undergraduate enrollment and graduate enrolment

Academic Programs- Specifically which one you would like to study.

Other programs – Sports, activities, student life or any other factor that made you become interested in this school.

Open House or Visiting information- If you like a school you should visit it before you attend. Please list open house dates for the spring and summer of 2016 if available.

Application Process- Do they use the common application? Do they require recommendations and if so how many? Do they require interviews, essays, personal statements, SAT, ACT? What are the deadlines for September admissions?

Application Requirements – What data do they use in their selection process? What is the HS Average and SAT/ACT scores recommended for admission? (Include middle 50% scores of accepted students),

Honors or special programs- What are the requirements and benefits to being enrolled in these programs?

Housing- Do they offer special interest housing, honors housing or academic housing?

Academic assistance- Do they offer a first year program to help you acclimate to the rigors of college life? Do they have a Math lab, writing center or other forms of tutoring services?

Career planning- Does the school offer or require internships and co-ops? What are the job placement statistics for your academic major?

Other- Your choice; study abroad, service opportunities, summer head start for freshmen, Male: Female ratio, Student: instructor ratio, great sports, housing, etc.
