Geometry Awareness Scavenger Hunt

Assign date: DUE DATE:

1. Work as a group (assigned). EVERYONE in the group should contribute somewhat equally.

2. The list of items to be found is printed on the lower half of the Scavenger Hunt Grade Sheet.

3. Each item must be labeled with the item number and the name of the person who found it.

4. Work (including point totals) should be divided evenly among group members. Remember to assign a person who is in charge of labeling and organizing envelope or box.

5. Place all items in a large envelope or shoe box. All items must be in numerical order and correctly labeled. Any items not in order, do not receive points! Items will be returned after grading. Important that someone in your group is assigned to organize the box to be handed in.

6. No loose items - any small items should be attached to a sheet of paper. On written responses, do one item number per page. Any loose items do not receive points!

7. Points will not be given for any items that are incorrectly labeled or out of order.

9. NO LATE PROJECTS. TURN IN WHAT YOU HAVE ON THE DUE DATE. DO NOT WAIT FOR THE LAST DAY TO ORGANIZE. THERE IS USUALLY AT LEAST ONE GROUP MEMBER THAT IS NOT RESPONSIBLE ENOUGH TO BRING IN THEIR ITEMS, AND THEREFORE, THE ENTIRE GROUP SUFFERS. WORK AHEAD! DO NOT BE PROCRASTINATICAL!
