Current available balance approx. $28 000.

Waiting for cheques to be cleared before closing account and changing over to Assoc. (advice from Gary). Closing ANFIN and term deposit.

Association Report

Available on parent lounge, feedback given by Tess. We agreed to fund the middle school seating, as approved at last Auxiliary meeting.

General Business:

Senior Skating Night13th OctoberBooked

Middle School DanceRequest from Damien to move dance as conflicts with school sport and sports day. Heather has checked, and DJ still OK. Will now be 12th August 6.30 to 10pm. Heather is collecting volunteer names. Claire and Sam unable to do cloak room but Steph Fisquet was available.(on 19th, may now be able to help on 12th?)

Shopping Tour16th October: Communication error – deposit still to be paid

Fashion Parade:Tess has done flyer and tickets – to go into the Link and school website.

Anne Jansen has 45 wine glasses (donating) and 11 bottles of wine left from a recent event, willing to sell at reduced price ($60). Approved, with thanks.

Jobs to do:Tessmusic, balloons / decorations / co-ordinate models (ask at Assoc / Jnr school mums).

Kerryflower centrepieces for decoration, raffle prizes

CherylPurchase coffee, ask yr 12 girls to model formal dresses, provide PA system, Tell Paul (Rowbotham) he is MC!,

Cheryl and a friend (Bernie) have volunteered to do the catering. Suggestions: selection of cakes, savoury items, including gluten free, scones, fruit and cheeses. Approved budget to $500

Feedback from Aasta, OK for small coffee machines from Kristie’s, but we need big one. Has been moved before, so will confirm.

Foundation Day Cocktail PartyNo further action at this stage

Tennis ShadeGroundstaff have attached umbrella holders to chairs and modifying the beach umbrella purchased as example. Anne and Lorraine to arrange supply of further umbrellas, preferably with timber handles to make more sturdy. Karen to be reimbursed purchase price ($39) for ‘prototype’ (approved by ‘flying minutes’ before holidays as required by groundstaff). Further inspection after meeting by Tess, Karen and Lorraine. Pleased with outcome.

PEC Courtyard ClockAwaiting advice from Pat Greene, getting electrician to quote.

Parent’s Yr 12 functionClaire advises 10 confirmations already, flyers circulated at Pre formal functions. Ongoing.

Future of AuxiliaryThe question of viability of Auxiliary has again been raised with Karen (secretary)announcing she is leaving St Paul’s at the end of the year (though will continue until AGM. Cheryl (treasurer) also indicated this is a serious possibility for her. Tess concerned that we need to recruit new members, and could all members please consider this for discussion at next meeting.
