General Information and Guidelines

Motor Coach Conduct

Groups on Tour will provide you with the finest, most modern motor coach equipment available. In return, we ask that your students observe a few simple rules:

  • In most cases, students are welcome to bring food and beverages aboard the coach. However, beverages must have a screw on cap and we ask that all trash be deposited in the provided receptacles.
  • We also ask that students refrain from chewing gum on the motor coach.
  • While the coach is in motion, passengers are requested to remain seated. Sitting on the arm rests and seat backs is not allowed.

Hotel Check-In Procedures and Conduct

You are being housed in a quality hotel property. Therefore, we ask that trip participants respect the rights of other guests by

  • Not running in the halls
  • Keeping voices to speaking levels
  • Keeping television volume low
  • Not letting doors slam
  • Students must adhere to the designated curfew time. When the chaperone says “lights out” and gives you instruction, you are to remain in your room the entire night-no exceptions. If there is an emergency, call your chaperone.
  • No girls in boys rooms or boys in girls rooms – ZERO EXCEPTIONS.

Pool Regulations

  • Students will be allowed to use the hotel pool, but they must follow all hotel pool rules and guidelines
  • Female bathing suits must cover mid section (no bikinis). Males may wear appropriate swim trunks for the pool
  • If you are in doubt about your attire, please bring a T-shirt and pair of shorts to wear over your suit.

Luggage

  • Please make sure you have a luggage tag and name tag on your suitcase prior to leaving on the trip.

Other Guidelines while on this trip….

  • While in the Disney parks, you MUSTcheck in with your chaperones at the designated time. If you are bringing a phone, make sure Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Morrison, Mr. Williams, and Coach Moore have your number.
  • Students must remain in the designated Disney Park for the duration of the day. Going off Disney property is not allowed.
  • You are required to be in a minimum group of 2 students while in the park. Students are not allowed to roam around by themselves.
  • While we are off campus, we are still representing East Hamilton on a trip. Therefore, rules that are set in place at school will also be set in place on the trip. Keep your hands to yourself, be respectful of other people and others belongings, and be where you need to be EARLY, not at that time, not late.

Consequences….

  • If a student does not follow the guidelines while on the trip, they will be required to stay with a chaperone the entire time at the amusement park.
  • Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Morrison, Mr. Williams, and Coach Moore reserve the right to send a student home from the trip at their parents’ expense should they misbehave to that severity. After returning to school, students will also face consequences from school administration.
