General Board Meeting Minutes

Call to Order 6:00pm
In attendance –Richard flowers, Mike Gaide, China Martinelli, Casie McMillian, Karryann Pallitto, Greg Martinelli, Patty Henslee, Nate Tillet, Amy Lemon, Chrissy McCord, Gerika Parcon, Daniele Olson, Liz Denny, Wendy Melander, Cam Harder, Donna Mallett, Heather Brown, Jackie Arnaz, TheresaSimon, Blaine Nickens, Daniele Diehl

Minutes for September and October- approved by Daniele, China seconds, all approved, no oppose, no obtain
PARENT CONCERN: Meixner & Francis ask to speak with Executive board after meeting (personal)
- President-
Championship at Whitney- get people out there. We hope cheer can come. Invite all girls to cheer.
Shared field building-no longer in agreement (vista to have their own and we will no longer will share)- Several issues arise from sharing missing-broken items etc.. No longer sharing equip-stereo etc.. We will need to add shelving and possibly need a shed in future (will be a tight fit)
Concession still sharing with Vista
Midget team host 4 team tournament- Washington will come down(Puyallup)- Rio Vista is in and looking for one more- Saturday Sunday event 11-28-29th.Times sat afternoon Sunday midday. Field reserved, emt, referees scheduled (Cost split between four teams). Want snack bar open, and have gate fees. Midget parents will volunteer for set up etc..
Surveys 93 received- surveys now closed- go thru surveys and dive into details in December. Look for repeat problems and maybe we need to re adjust. Board members to review surveys online before December meeting. Use survey info for future hires etc...
Issues:- bathrooms we need to try to work with city to freshen bathrooms more often. Porta pottys are cleaned day before. Possible bigger bathroom in future but not certain.
Field set for future fix- possible extend visitor side, and bleacher, will look at once city is set to go.
Francis- need dialog in FAA meeting to help set a dialog with city.
Equip return- 5-8pm 11-5-15
VP Football Bios- received two Bios (sent to president) will set interviews. General board decision for deciding VP of Football
Scholarship paper work for 2015 season to be turned into Ernie
- VP Football-
Ordered trophies etc.. for banquet all set.
- VP Cheer-
Comp did okay, learned a lot for next year, banquet this weekend, everything lined up. Lots of plans for next year.
- Treasurer-
Made at game last weekend $7163.75, Concessions $3,263, Rental fee for HS? Cleared $8,700
All team moms need to turn in reimbursement form before banquet, if turned in after then no go, drop at Casie house, or at field, call her and she will meet for form.
- Events-
Veterans parade this WednesdayTime 8:15 23E-Patty sent out blast, no float this year, with all things going on not enough time, concerned of lack of coaches and board member support, need more support with kids. Only had a few coaches at homecoming parade, and it was still hard with all kids, need real coach and board support or can’t do. Need coaches & team moms of both football & Cheer to ask players to participate.
Meixner- suggest Mike to send out an email to coaches to rally kids. Mike will follow up to all coaches to team moms etc.. Mike will send out a full blast also. Patty to also keep blasting out.
Banquet is getting there, they are on it. Will be good.
Events for next year, nobody has come forward seriously. Only one interested (Stephanie Bambino). China will do for one more year, and will train Steph for the following year. Sucha big position will need to train new person with the current events team. With Steph china will do it. Steph wants to learn before. Will officially submit a Bio.

Need to figure out what is left over to sell or use? Donating drinks to banquets

No Bios received for Events, President, or VP of Football (mike received the two, will send to secretary)

Should we delete Facebook people that leave the league in bad standing?-Board agrees to delete all members that leave in bad standing. Patty to get list if any from Vp’s, and pres.

Spotter no show for midget game and concession -one family not met hours-mike to follow up

Who do the parents pay for no-show shift $35 (FYFC mail check)

Want everybody to email feedback on teen for hires, handful of Teen for hires were given warnings over season-Mike suggest to look over that portion of Survey for input. Going over surveys in December.
- Field ops –
Vista issue – need bigger storage or additional storage, bin will work.
Speaker issue- see if we can put on light post speaker and share cost with vista. Not sure if neighbors will approve.
Meixner- a field being built at Sutter, vista will possibly move to Sutter. Sutter bleachers done by May
Rich – fAA meeting -said will start working on stadium, vista has restrooms etc.

One incident at Folsom high playoff game 4 year old on visitor side fell,Lynn accessed, his eyes rolled back, emtrecommended to be transported, father declined, and took into Kaiser. Mom called on scene complaining, she was not at game and wanted more info, Antelope family, mother and father not married, Casie was called. dadwas seen talking to friends for several minutes in car before taking child to Kaiser. Mom upset her child was not taken sooner.
Will pick up first aid kits and replenishing for next year.
Bill for on scene for season-giving to Casie. (Casie has the bill received today)
