Gary Chiumento, Esq. ~ Gary C. Chiumento is a cum laude graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (BA 1976) and Rutgers Law School (JD 1979) where he competed on the Rutgers Moot Court Team. He served as Law Secretary to the Hon. Merritt Lane, Jr. (New Jersey Superior Court, Appellate Division.).
In 1983, Mr. Chiumento joined the law firm now known as Harvey, Pennington and had been the managing owner of the Cherry Hill, NJ office since 2000. In 2007, Mr. Chiumento formed Chiumento McNally, LLC.
Mr. Chiumento admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court, the US Circuit Court for the Third Circuit, the US District Court for the District of New Jersey and the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Claims and the State Courts of New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. He has served as a member of New Jersey’s Ethics Committee for District IV. He has achieved the distinction of AV Peer Rating by Martindale-Hubbell. For the past four years, he has been designated a New Jersey “Super Lawyer” in the field of Construction Law.
Mr. Chiumento has published numerous articles on topics of interest to the design and business community and is a frequent speaker on these topics. Mr. Chiumento has also written Construction Contract Administration: A Perspective for Design for the American Institute of Architects (2009). He is also co-author of the book Construction Administration for Architects (McGraw Hill, 2009).
