Scoring System

Five (5) points will be awarded for each win and Two (2) points for a tie

Standing of Teams-Method of Determination

First and Second place winners in each group will be decided based upon the number of points. In the event that teams finish with the same amount of points, the tiebreaker criteria below will be used in the order listed to determine placement.

1.  Head to head (not used if more than 2 teams are tied)

2.  Most won Games

3.  Least games Lost

4.  Least Goals against

5.  Most Shutouts

6.  Most goals for( A max of three goals per game will be counted)

7.  Teams will be declared Co-1st Place or 2nd Place winners

Additional Rules

1.  All Games will start and end via master Air Horn

2.  Home Team provides the game ball and will start game with ball

3.  Away team will choose side of field to defend

4.  Home team shall change uniform where a conflict exists.

5.  No Jewelry of any kind may be worn

6.  Substitutions can be done at any stoppage point regardless of which team has possession.

7.  No headers, No Goalie Punts.

8.  U5 thru U8 Divisions will have kick ins- for all restarts when the ball goes out of bounds. This includes goal kicks and corner kicks as well. No off sides for u5-U8

9.  U9-U10 Division will use throw in’s and play with off sides.

10.  All players must wear shin guards with socks covering them. No metal cleats allowed

11.  A forfeited game will result in a score of 1-0 and will count in all categories

12.  A Red carded player/coach will be ineligible for the remainder of the tournament

13.  All U5 & U6 players will receive a participation award. Other divisions will have a 1st and 2nd place trophies

14.  Spectators cannot place any chairs on any turf areas. Please let your team know as they will be asked to remove the chairs from the turf.

15.  Sportsmanship rule: Any team that wins by more than 6 goals will be penalized 1 point for each goal that totals more than a goal differential (ie. 8-0 score would result in the winning team losing 3 points)

The age group in which a team is to play is determined by the oldest player on the team. Playing time requests cannot be guaranteed. Applications are on a first come first serve basis. There will be no refunds for team withdrawals after June 1, 2016. All games are played on turf fields, however, in the event inclement weather results in tournament being completely cancelled, teams will receive a refund of $250 per team. In the event the tournament is partially played, teams that play in completely cancelled brackets will get a refund of $250 per team. This is necessary to cover certain tournament costs. We reserve the right to reschedule cancelled groups on Sunday, Father’s Day.
