At the same time the new material with high adhesive strength seals the restoration even beyond the margin and protects it against leakages and porosities – for a lasting aesthetic appearance, even without polishing.

More than just shine:owing to its unique chemical formula,
G-Coat PLUS in comparison with other varnishes is the first to guarantee extremely homogeneous distribution of nano-particles in the matrix, and the uniform infiltration of these particles actually enhances the wear resistance of the underlying filling material – regardless of whether it is applied to GIC, composite or acrylic restorations or after repair of old fillings to protect against renewed acid attack or marginal discolouration, for instance.
Lasting gloss and adhesion in a matter of seconds
Thanks to its specific self-adhesive monomers, the new sealing material from GC Europe adheres superbly not only to the filling material but also to the tooth structure. It therefore protects the restoration edges in the long term against marginalleakages and cracks and ultimately against unattractive discolouration as well.Furthermore the coating prevents initial water sensitivity, especially of glass ionomer cements.
G-Coat PLUS is also utterly simple to apply in a matter of seconds.The low-viscosity single-component coating is applied in a thin layer with a micro-tip, then cured.The material can easily be cured in 20 seconds with all the popular polymerisation units (halogen, LED or plasma). Even without the (time and) effort of polishing the filling material, the restoration now takes on an exceptional gloss.The extremely fine surface smoothness also reduces the risk of a build-up of plaque and staining – a safe and pleasant feeling for patients, too.
The nano-filled coatingG-Coat PLUS for long-term and economic surface sealing of filling materials is now available in a four millilitre bottle.In addition, the set contains 20 disposable dispensing dishes, 50 micro-tip applicators and one applicator holder.The new coating is also available in combi-packs containing the condensable, highly aesthetic GC Fuji IX GP Extra. The combination of these products represents the high-posterior filling system “EQUIA”.
