1) Meeting called to order at 7:09 pm
2) Motion made to accept December, 2011 meeting minutes. Motion seconded and accepted.
3) Matt Guglielmo, Treasurer, presented the budget for the fiscal year 2011-2012. The budget is a balanced budget, which assumes $15,000 of raffle revenue, offset by $15,055 contingency reserve. Discussion on how much surplus should we have in the bank (currently $67k)? Approximately one year of operating expenses ($70k), was considered a good target. Budget will be reviewed and possible reforecast , in April, based on our registration (revenue) numbers.
4) Three committees still have openings (Fundraising, Spring Program and Picture Day). Kevin Quigley volunteered for Picture Day and will talk to Josh Rappaport for information. Usually, Picture Day is the 2nd Saturday in May.
5) The Advisory Board will be updated based on attendance at recent meetings. Byron will review meeting attendance over the last year.
6) Registration
The dates for registration are Friday, January 20 (evening) and Saturday, January 21 (morning).
Registration fees are the following $90 for (T/A/AA); $105 (AAA/National) and $120 (American).
Farmington High School Baseball will have a table set up for a February 11 clinic for our AAA, National and American League players. Cost is $25. Information about registration has been in the “Friday Folders” of the public schools. We still need to get the information out to the private schools and day care. Highway signs will be put up at the 84/4 interchange and Unionville center.
