I. Lehigh Emails
- LTS if moving forward with the bounce-back emails, you can decide whether to opt-in
-This will last for 1 year after your @lehigh.edu address expires
-You can set up mail forwarding from the @alum.lehigh.edu address, but not the @lehigh.edu address
-Bob Wolfenden, assistant vice president of alumni relations will be at the next general meeting
II. LUMA: Pilot Program
LUMA is the Lehigh U. Mentor Association, a new pilot program from the GSS! Members will work with the GSS, Grad Life Office, and Leadership Office to participate in a pilot mentor program to better prepare graduate students for careers in academia and industry by mentoring undergraduate students, and receiving tailored leadership training. The time commitment is 2 meetings per month scheduled depending on members’ availability.

III. Jason Slipp from LTS: Mahara
Stage 1 – A repository of your work- Customized portfolio with the goals of putting all of your experiences and work in one place
Stage 2- make it look presentable
The portfolio is exportable, and they are working on how long it will live on after you graduate. Mahara is user friendly, to access go to mahara.cc.lehigh.edu. You log in with your Lehigh user name and password. In Coursesite you can automatically send a document to your Mahara repository. There will be training sessions in October. (6 total)
Graduate Professional Development ePortfolio Project is the name of the Graduate Student profile.
You can also set up privacy settings for your portfolio and each individual document if you don’t want it to be visible to everyone.
An email will be sent out in the next few days about this program.

Rahil: TAs and RAs are complaining about being forced to work more than 20 hours a week.
- We should discuss vacation days, weekends, maximum hours
- There should be some kind of guidelines for TAs and solutions for exams/hw
