Carolina’s AIHA Student OutreachApplication
The Carolina’s Section AIHA will be sponsoring various students from institutions of higher learning across the states of North and South Carolina to attend their annual spring and fall conferences.
Please complete the following application and return it to the designee listed below. We look forward to seeing you at a future local Section AIHA conference!
As a Sponsored Student you will receive:
FREE registration to the conference.
A $100.00 SUBSIDY, to be used for travel expensewhile attending the conference.
The opportunity to present or share internship or co-op work experiences through conference presentations or whiteboard displays.
Interaction with HSE professionals with varying degrees of experience from all over the region.
A terrific opportunity to attend professional sessions, meet with employers, network with people who share your interests, and build your résumé!
Eligibility
To be eligible for this program, you must be interested in the environmental & occupational hygiene profession. Applicants should be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate level program pursuing any science, engineering, or health/safety/environmental field. Hotel and travel accommodations will not be provided, outside of the allotted subsidy.
Application Process
Applications are due to the Carolina’s Section AIHA no later than one (1) month prior to the conference you’re interested in attending. These dates vary, but can be found on the Carolina’s Section website ( Accepted participants will be notified no later than 15 days before the conference dates. Applications are accepted on a first come basis until all of the slots are filled, so send in your application quickly!!!
