FCH11C8WQ environmental housing with heat exchanger, feed-thru wall/pole mount, dynamic power allocation PoE input, 30 watt midspan included, heater & blower, sunshield, supports .at PoE cameras
Note: Use E-suffix model numbers when mid-span injector is to be supplied as a separate unit. Models without the E-suffix include an internal mid-span injector supplied with the unit.
C.Substitutions: Not permitted
D.All Thermiq Technologyunits shall be supplied from a single manufacturer
2.02DESCRIPTION
A.The Thermiq Technology camera housingshall be an outdoor capable integrated camera housing system allowing the heat to be actively displaced and maintain a near ambient temperature within the camera chamber.
B.Components - The housing shall include the following primary components:
- External housing
- Heater assembly
- The heater shall activate at 60°Fand deactivate at 80°F.
- Air-to-Air Heat Exchanger
a. The heat exchanger shall decrease the housing’s overall thermal resistance significantly in order to allow internal housing temperatures to be close to the ambient environment
4. Printed circuit (PC) board
- The24vac/12vdc PC board shall provide appropriate power to the camera as well as heater and blower assemblies.
- The PCB shall have sufficient surge protection against transient voltage spikes that would otherwise damage a camera
5. Built-In Defogger
a. The fan shall circulate air in a controlled manner throughout the unit in order to direct heated air onto the front window and across the camera lens
C.Power (PoE Model only)
1. PoE Plus IEEE802.3at compliant device, works with any PoE IEEE802.3af camera
2. True PoE power to the camera (no splitter that runs 12/24v to the camera)
3. DPA ensures maximum power to the camera. All remaining power is provided to the H&B for maximum operating temperature range
4. The PC board shall receive power from the PoE connection and provide appropriate power to the camera and heater and blower assemblies.
5. Automatically adjusts to power loss for long cable runs.
6. One cable installation w POE model
D.Thermal Qualities
- Thermiq Technology shall allow cameras to be mounted in temperatures as high as 134°F (60°C)
E. Cameras
1. Acceptable cameras:
a. Standard fixed camera body with camera and lens combinations up to 11" long and 3.5" wide
F. Accessories
- Brackets for ceiling, wall, and pole mount
- Sunshield included
