Fundraiser: Our largest money maker of the year. This is how we meet our budget.

STARR Student: Teachers nominate students that have excelled under Safety, Truth, Achievement, Respect or Responsibility each month and PTA makes a special day for them.

Cici’s Pizza: One night a month we try to get as many people to go to Cici’s pizza and 10% of the total ticket sales is given to PTA.

Box Tops: Box Tops are collected from participating brands and turned in to receive .10 cents a top.

Campbell’s labels: Campbell’s labels are collected to earn points.

Membership Drive: PTA has a contest between classes to see which class can get the most PTA members to sign up. The winning class wins something special.

Red Ribbon Week: Special gifts are given to each student during this week held in October. A helicopter also lands and speakers talk about being drug free.

Carnival: This is not to be a money maker, if we do great, otherwise it is a community service that we do. It has traditionally been held around Halloween.

Holiday Shop: As with the carnival, it is a community service, not a fundraiser. Fun Services brings in items for us to sell to the students and their families.

Holiday Books: Each student will receive a free book around the holidays.

Holiday Parties: PTA provides a small gift like a pencil or snack for every student during the holiday part and Valentine’s party.

Staff Allowance: Each staff member or group is given a certain amount of money that can be used during the school year for the students or classrooms.

Staff Appreciation: In May, the staff can sign up for their choice of gift card, lottery tickets or the yearbook.

Student Planners: Planners are given to the third, fourth and fifth grades to help them learn organization.

Field Day: PTA or someone donates popsicles for field day. In the past, a gift like a water bottle, has been given to each student.

Field Trips: PTA gives an allotment to each teacher to use towards field trips.

PTA Convention: Colorado PTA has a convention every year in April. In our budget, we allow for two people to go for two days. It is really fun and educational.

Ink Cartridge Recycling: We recycle ink cartridges to earn money for our school.
