Responsible for the maintenance and administration of 6 NetWare severs and the Education/Admin networks across three Campuses in the region. On call to all Colleges in southern Queensland region. Currently based at Roma College.
2000-2001Computer/Network Technician, Power Computers PTY, Mackay, Queensland.
Worked as an onsite/workshop technician, covering warranty repairs for Acer and Leading Edge. Performed server installations, network trouble shooting and printer repairs. Provided support for remote sites, PC repairs and upgrades. Clients included hospitals, schools and shopping centers.
2000-2001Network Administrator, Tradecorp International, Grasstree Beach Queensland.
Responsible for design and installation of company’s network infrastructure. Included building/installation of NT4 server, Linux server, creating SOE for desktops. Liased with ISP and set up company’s Exchange server.

Worked as a second level support consultant to a team of telephone consultants in the largest PC call center in Europe. Provided warranty support to Public and second level support to Field Engineers. Undertook extensive customer relations training/telebusiness communications training. Also undertook in-house hardware training from Acer, Canon etc. Company provided Microsoft certification program.

Hobbies, Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy restaurants, reading, playing the Drums and spending time with my children. Whenever possible we enjoy camping and fishing, generally spending time outdoors.
When time and family permit, I also enjoy experimenting with a test network at home, which includes a Linux based firewall/router, a Windows XP network connected to an Evaluation Netware 5.1/SBS Windows 2000 server!
