IV. Elections
A. By a unanimous vote, Leo Dorr from the Great Lakes Bio-Regional Land Conservancy, Steve Hester from Zoom Digital Media, and Dennis Zicha were voted in as new Directors of the Flint River Watershed Coaliton. By a unanimous vote, Jennifer Bigelow from General Motors, Dan Emerton from UAW 599, Jack Minore, State Representative, and Harry Blecker from the Center for Applied Environmental research were reelected as Directors of the Flint River Watershed Coaliton.
V. Goal Setting
A. Stephany Diana distributed a annual report for the FRWC.
B. Stephany Diana passed out a list of goals for the Flint River Watershed Coalition to pursue in the upcoming year. She asked individuals to prioritize and comment on those goals for discussion by the board of directors
VI. Awards
A. An award was presented to thank Dr. Gary Pace for his efforts with our stream monitoring program. He was also provided with chocolate covered insects and some glow-in-the dark critters.
VII. Presentation
A. Gary Kolhepp from DEQ presented on the results from our stream monitoring. The presentation is available online.
