Front Bumper Removal

(TLewis4095): Front fascia cover comes off relatively easy -just follow all the screws and take your time. Start at the underneath side and remove the air dam. A new front fascia is $316 from Fichtner Chevrolet and you can have a good paint shop paint it off the car so you can install it to save money. If it is a hard to match color like Millenium Yellow or other hard to match color, you will want the car at the shop that paints it to match properly. The fog light is attached with a light gauge bracket. - bend it back straight.

(Patches): I took my bumper off to install PIAA's about a month ago and it wasn't difficult, just lots of screws and a few nuts. Take your time and work your way around. Start underneath and pull off the air dams and access covers and the four nuts inside on studs that hold it to the top/side of the bumper cover to the fenders (you have to reach your arm inside for these - use a light to see them).

I did this alone but a helper makes it easier to remove and, especially, in putting it on.
