REGULATIONS OF THE COMPETITION
Competition takes place in three different categories:
- Piano duet (four hands (one or two pianos)
- Chamber ensemble (ensemble with pianos: duet, trio, quartet and quintet)
- Mix ensemble (combination till eight participants)
Age limit:
Group A– 15to 19year olds(inclusive)
Group B– 20 to 25 year olds(inclusive)
Duration of the programme:
Group A – from 20 to 30 minutes.
Group B – from30to40 minutes.
REPERTOIRE
Piano duet:
- Original work of classicism period (separate composition’s partsby choice are possible)
- Original work of romanticism period (separate composition’s partsby choice are possible)
- Original work composed in 20th – 21st century (separate composition’s partsby choice are possible)
Repertoire performance by heart is not compulsory. Application form must include a copy of repertoire score.
Chamber ensemble:
- Original work of classicism period (separate composition’s partsby choice are possibleice)
- Original work of romanticism period (separate composition’s partsby choice are possible)
- Original work composed in 20th – 21st century (separate composition’s partsby choice are possible)
Application form must include a copy of repertoire score.
Mix ensemble:
Three compositions different in character and style, arrangements are possible. The author of arrangementmust bespecified.At least one original work isadvisable. Application form must include a copy of repertoire score. Composition of ensemble must be constant.
PARTICIPATION RULES
The following documents should be mailed or senttill April, 2014 (if sent by post, the postmark date shall beuntil April, 2014, applications may be sent to an e-mail address, indicated in the contact list):
- Application form,
- A copy of the birth certificate or passport (for all ensemble participants),
- A photo of duet or ensemble,
- A copy of repertoire score
The Competition will be judged by the international jury.
All decisions rendered by the jury will be final and beyond appeal.
The competition owns the rights pertaining to the recording or broadcasting by radio, internet or television of the competition and winners concert.

PARTICIPATION FEE
Group A30 EUR per each ensemble participant.
Group B50 EUR per each ensemble participant.

1. All travel and accommodation expenses are to be covered by the participants.
