Apologies

Past minutes approved (meeting in January and extra meeting in February on transformation)

Matters arising

It was Stephen’s last day as a co-chair of the Partnership Board which came as a bit of a surprise to all of us at the meeting. None of us expected Stephen’s resignation. Stephen said that he really enjoyed all the work but it was time for him to let go. Martha added that we appreciated all his work; hate crime, schools, and all the meetings he co-chaired over the years. Martha added also that all of Stephen’s work has now been nationally recognised with the Erica’s Award and he should be very proud. We gave him a big round of applause.

Emma Dyer - short presentation “What makes a good Partnership Board, followed by a workshop

and then Partnership Board Annual Report, followed by 3 small workshops – update on work over the last 12 months

Notes of the workshops attached below:

Emma will take the notes into account when she writes the report. If you have further comments you would like noted, please email

The deadline for the report is 30th June.

Janet and Stephen have signed off the report before. We need to confirm who will sign the report this time round.

Anything else you want to talk about:

Martha would like to know how best to thank Stephen for the enormous contribution he has made over the past years. Charles will have a discreet word to see what he likes best. Maybe we could also have a special Stephen Hull Award for Hampshire every year. We could also say thank you to Stephen at the next self-advocacy conference.

Bus passes: Janet said that people need to get registered to get their bus pass. A community nurse or someone in the care management team can write a letter for you if you need a companion pass. She has done a bit of work at EII court and the Discovery centre on the matter! Thank you Janet.

The next Partnership Board meeting will be at Wells Place Centre on Wednesday 18th May 2011 - 10 am to 12.30 noon.
