From the Chairperson’s desk:-
Ours life and society is aimless if there is no element of emotions in it.This is 5th Annual report of Paradise children care Centre in your hand. I have studied the processes and engagements of the organization. It is important to be well versed with the organization one head.
As I write this massage, there is much change and promise of progress and development around us. Paradise centre encourage staff and volunteers to contribute their time, skill and energies to enhance the work being carried out at the grass root level. We are happy to record that in the three years since our inception.we have grown from pleasing a hand full of volunteers.
Our mission is directed to wards bringing about positive social change through our training camps, awareness, camps and workshops. Young people are the strength of a nation.
I would like to thank all our committed volunteers, partner,staff, parents and donor of Paradise Centre for all their hard work and dedication particular Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan Chamba and Ajay Chambial, Anuradha, Mamta, Nisha, Shalu and Dinesh.

The Institution : An Introduction :-
Paradise care centre came in to existence in 5th May, 2006 as anoutcome of the relentless and indefatigable efforts of Mr. Ajay Chambial Mr. Balwinder Singh Mankotia and Sanjeev Sharma. It was the great efforts of Mr. Ajay Chambial to fulfill the dream of the people those children are suffered with disability. The centre is now fully functional and providing rehabilitation and educational and hostel services to M.R.children. The centre is situated at Chowari about 50 Kilometer from District Chamba and 25 Kilometer from Nurpur District Kangra( HP) which is beautiful hilly area amidst the most idyllic surrounding, with back drop of celestial and majesty beauty. This is only one centre in distt. Chamba which is working in the field of disability from last eight years.
Vision:-
Vision is to influence position of disabled people, make them self dependent and bring them in main stream of society.
Mission:-
The mission of Paradise Children Care Centre is aiming to bridge the distance between disabled people and general people.

Area of Operation:-
NGO’s area of operation is District. Chamba of Himachal Pradesh which is known as backward district of H.P.
Faculty Status:-
At present the centre is running in a rented building which is barrier free and located ina peaceful area. The centre has owned sixrooms, onekitchen, bathrooms and toilets and ground for playing.

Academic Status:-
At present this NGO is working on different types of disability as, mentally retarded,deaf and dumb and visual impaired. The centre is providing HOME BASED EDUCATION to 20 disabled children under S.S.A. from last Eight years. The centre is trying to providing best education with the help of attractive Teaching Learning material which is proving effective to develop their mental level and learning efficiency. Our special educators are providing them minimum 15 visits to every child . It’s their efforts that we succeed to achieve all goals which are selected for the children.

Picnic/ Tour :-
For the purpose of entertainment Centre administration had been organized two Picnics / Tour in this year first tour was organized on dated 28thApril.2015. In this tour 20 boys and girls CWSN had been enjoyed to see famous Bhalai Mata Temple and on dated 10-10-2015 institute organized picnic for special children atHill StationDalhousie with staff.In this picnic children and teachers enjoyed there with lunch, sports and entertaining activities.

Sports Activities :-
For the development of Mentally, Physically, Socially and emotionally centre administration organized Sports & cultural activities one time in a month to promote the above qualities .And prepare the children to take-part in sports and cultural activities Block, District State level and International level.
Participation in Sports:-
Distt. Level:- The 38 special children of different disabilities participated in distt. Level tournaments which held at Police ground Chamba on dated:-26-11-2015. And the most of athletes won medal in their particular event and All the athlete awarded by Chief GuestD.Y.S.S.O. Chamba Sh. Sudesh Dhiman.
State Level Sports:-
The selected 20 special athletes participated in state level Special sports which were held at Nahan from 2nd Dec. 2015 to 3rd Dec. 2015 and center registered there his participation. The result of this tournament remain satisfactory the boys team of Bochi got 1st position in MR category & Rakesh Kumar stand 2nd position in 100 mt. running. The opening ceremony is organized in the presence of S.P Sirmour HP & in the eve of closing Deputy Commissioner Sirmour blessed the all participants.
State Floorball Championshipat Dharamshala / State Floorball Coaching Camp at UnaNational Level:-
The institution’s special athletesselected in national level sports of Floor Ball championship which was took place on dated30-6-2015 to 3-7-2015 at Dharamshala by the Special Olympic Bharat HP behalf of Paradise CenterMonu, Anil, Reena and Kanchan participated in this championship. And perform his/her capability. All the participants honor by Chairperson Dr. Malika Nadda of Special Olympic Bhart Chepter HP
Secondly kanchan Devi participate in Floor ball coaching camp organized at Una from 19-1-2016 to 23-1-2016 Una HP
The National Special Olympic Winter game held at Narkanda Shimla on dated 4-3-2016 to 10-3-2016.Behalf Chamba district Mr Sanjay & Kanchan participated in winter game in Snow Board event in this championship Sanjay won Silver medal and Kanchan won gold medal they performed excellent and selected for the Coaching camp for World Winter Games at Kashmir Gulmarg they attended the coaching camp from 29th April 2016 to 6-5-2016 at Kashmir Gulmurg and remain their position in probable list of World Winter game.
National championship of winter game at Narkanda ShimlaInternational Level:-
Two athletes of our institution Kanchan Devi and Sanjay Kumar are probably selected in Snow Board event for the Special Olympic world Winter games which are going to be heldat Austria in 2017.
Co-curricular Activities:-
Thus these children are disabled after that, they trying to show their talent. In centre campus for the development of extra co-curricularactivities administration has given more attention to promote these activities and organized once time cultural and sports activities. On the occasion Republic Day of 26 Jan.2016, our children participated and got prizes from local S.D.M.Amit Mehra.
On the occasion of Children Day 14 Nov.2015centre had been organized cultural,sports and painting competition. And distribute cloths and sweets to children by center.
Awards:-
Paradise Children Care Centre’s Special Athletes Awarded by honorable Governor Himachal Pradesh Sh. Dev vart Acharya on dated 15 October 2015.
NGO’s Special Child Named Salochana Devi gotExcellence Award by DivyaHimachal Kangra H.P on the Day of 1 March 2016 for the participation in world Special Olympic Summer Games which were organized at LOS Angeles ( USA) dated from 25 june 2015 to 7th August 2015.
On dated 24 October 2015 Salochana Devi awarded by honorable MLA Asha Rani with “SHRESHATH AWARD” at Dalhousie.
Awareness Camps ;-
On dated 29-5-2015 Paradise center organized one day awareness camp for disabled people under the banner of SC,OBC & Minority Dept. HP. In this camp DWO Chamba Mr. Aseem Sood was chief Gust. During this camp the resource persons of different dept. aware the people about the schemes for these people. This camp attended by 250 people. In this camp 4 wheel chairs, 15 sticks and 13 crèches
distributed by the NGO. In this occasion Miss Sudesh Thakur (Member of Zila Parishad), Dr. Amit Kumar, Mr. Rajender Mohan (Tehsil Welfare Officer),Mr. Balwinder Singh (President of Paradise) Mr. Ajay Chambial ( Secretary),Mr Surjeet Mandla and Mr. Rattan Chand Chauan were especially present.
Medical Assessment Camps:-
NGO organized one time medical assessment camp in center once in month for day scholar and twice for the hostel residential (MR Men & Women)
On dated 23thFeb ,2016 Paradise Centre Organized one day medical camp which was sponsor by SSA Chamba. During this camp 106 CWSN assessed by medical team Dr.Pardeep Pahva Physiotherapist,Sh Ram Pande (hearing & speech Therapist )Mr. Shankar and Priyavart (Specialist Mentally Challenge) (CRC Sundernagar)
And Distribute wheel Chairs ,Sensory motor kit churches, spaces and sticks to special children.
On dated 28 May. 2015 Paradise children care center visited with 18 CWSNto Dalhousie Hospital for eye check up as per instruction of District &session JudgeR.K Sharma. All the special children dignose by Dr. Vipin Thakur (Eye Specialist) and distribute them medicine free of cost.

Other Activities
Paradise care centre also conducts the other activities rather then disability. The centre organized Youth Week on dated 3rd Jan.2015. This camp had been organized at Chowari Distt. Chamba. In this camp 24 youths gave their service.

Special Event:-
Honable Governer of Himachal Pradesh Dr. Dev Varthonored the Special athlete of ParadiseSalochana Devi for winning gold in World Special Olympic Summer game in Lass Angilas USA on dated15-10-2015.

Paradise Children care center celebrate the Holi festival with indifferently able people in center’s campus and organized some recreational activities for them.
Message of Secretary :-
we have tried our best to bring improvement in every sphere of centre activities and sincere efforts shall be made for its further up liftment.In the end I want express my thanks to Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan,Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment and Composite Rehabilitation Central Sundernagar(Mandi).Which implement various schemes for the welfare of people with disabilities. My thanks to all the local donors of NGOand public who extended their services when ever these were required.I also congratulate all the prize winners of International, National, State and Distt. Level tournament and my best wishes to all the special children for the rapidly rehabilitation. May you all come off with flying colors.
