PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to all interested persons that the City Council of Midvale City adopted Resolution 2017-R-06 on February 7, 2017, indicating its intent to adjust a boundary that Midvale City has in common with Murray City. The affected area is located approximately between 6604 South – 6790 South 700 West, Murray, and will be deleted from Murray City and added to Midvale City. This area is more particularly described below:

Beginning at a point on the section line, said point being South 0°18’00” West 594.00 feet along said section line from the East Quarter Corner of Section 23, Township 2 South, Range 1 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian, and running; thence South 0°18’00” West 718.26 feet along said section line to the extension of the north line of River Walk at Bingham Junction; thence South 89°28’44” West 1650.15 feet to and along the north line of said River Walk at Bingham Junction; thence North 0°18’00” East 733.26 feet; thence East 1650.00 feet to the point of beginning.

This boundary adjustment will result the above area being automatically annexed into the Unified Fire Authority, which will provide fire protection, paramedic, and emergency services to the affected area.

A public hearing will be held on April 18, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. at the Midvale City Hall, located at 7505 S. Holden St., Midvale, Utah 84047, regarding the boundary adjustment.
