Re:SSE Magazine Special Winter Olympic Edition (First Assignment)
SSE Magazine is going to be issuing a special issue on the Winter Olympics. You will be receiving three assignments to complete for this issue.
Your first assignment is to create your press pass to wear as you cover the Winter Olympics.
You need to include the following items on your pass:
- Your name
- The name of the magazine you are reporting for
- The country you will be representing
- A picture of yourself
- Symbols and designs of some kind

Your second assignment is to choose a topic from the topic list. You will then choose a product from each section of the magazine assignment choice list. In the end you will have three products. You will have one from the People, Places, and Sports Section, one from the Advertisement Section, and one from the Fun Page Section. You will use your topic to create each of these products.
Your products will be graded on the following:
- You included a product from each section using your topic.
- Products are neatly and colorfully done.
- Products contain factual information about your topic.

SSE Magazine Special Winter Olympic Edition will also include a special poetry section.
Your next magazine assignment will be to create an I Poem for this section about your Olympian, your country, or sport.
Use the research you have collected to help you write your poem. Be sure to use interesting and precise words and factual information in your poem.
