Re:Video Promotion Project for Business and Information Technology Courses

Message

Mrs. Bullock needs your help! Individually or in teams of no more than two you will be creating a two to three minute informativevideo to promote one of the Business and Information Technology courses at LCHS.

Promotional Video

You (or your group) will be responsible to create a one to three minute informative, creative and accurate video to promote one of the seven different Business or Information Technology courses offered at LCHS. Remember the audience for this project includes students as well as parents and school staff—be sure to avoid abbreviations and acronyms and DO NOT USE any inappropriate words, music, or pictures.

Each courseshould be researched and the video should beinformative, creative, accurate information using appropriate pictures/clips and good sound quality.

This project must be completed in 3 (three) class periods! Remember course information can be found on Mrs.Bullock’s web site.

Step 1—RESEARCH

For your inspiration you should review the Business and Information Technology Course information in the Program of Study Handbook and Mrs. Bullock’s website.

Step 2—TOPIC

The main goal of the project is to promote one of the seven Business or Information Technology classes so students will develop and interest for the course that you are promoting and will sign up for the class next year!

Step 3—DESIGN &PLANNING

Thoughtfully plan your design. Each video should be 2-3 minutes and unique—do not apply the unity design principle to this project. (We don’t want them all to look the same.) Please also add the following text on your credits:

Step 4—CREATE

Create an attractive, eye-catching, and informative2-3 minute promotional video. We will be using Movie Maker to complete this project. The rubric on the next page will be used to grade your work.
