Time / Details11:15am-11:30am / Patrol selection. ASPL will read names for each designated color group. Blue, Green, Gold, White as determined by questionnaire/surveys skill group. Patrol advisors will guide initial patrol leader to select his patrol from different color groups.
11:30am-11:50am / Get acquainted session.Patrol and advisor gather at table. Each member shares (2-3 min. max) information on experience, talents, etc. List team assets and elect patrol leader.Select patrol name, announce to group so names are not duplicated. (First to claim a name gets it and writes it on white board or flip chart)Begin developing a patrol action plan.
11:50am-12:20pm / Lunch. Continue to get to know each other.(Advisor eats with patrolto facilitate meal and build relationships)
12:30pm- 1:10pm / Model Campsite Session.
- No-trace camping.
- Overview of modern campsite set up.
- Natural hazards.
- Safety and sanitation.
- Stove and lantern safety.
- Tool and fire safety.(If needed)
1:15pm- 1:30pm / Advisor leads patrol to campsite.
1:30pm- 3:30pm / Patrol time.
Brief patrol meeting at campsite as needed. (Determine patrol positions) Complete duty roster.Confirm inventory checklist for provided equipment.Set up campsite.Start working on patrol of excellence goals.(Advisor in campsite facilitating as needed

Senior Patrol Leader and ASPL meeting with patrol leaders. Explain duties of and determine service and program patrols. Determine Saturday activity coordinated schedule. Identify location of activities, and share other key information. Assist in setting a plan to complete all requirements for patrol of excellence per schedule.Send back to patrol sites to work on the plan.
2:45pm- 4:00pm / Patrols may send someone with their Ranger Derby car to the “Trade Skills” area to make any cuts on their car. Staff member will be available to assist.
3:30pm- 4:30pm / Patrol time to complete camp expectations.
Patrol spirit, reading assignments, complete camp set-up, patrol of excellence projects, etc. Design and work on ranger derby car. (Advisor not in campsite)
