There are several breeds that origin in French but Braque Saint Germain is described as most elegant French short haired pointer.First litter was done in 1830 with crucifixion of French and English pointer.

Gentle and dynamic

Braque Saint Germain is medium-highgrown dog and is larger from our famous IstrianBraque, the colorof the nose is different and softer, and it has more elegantmovement. Females are up to 59 centimetersof height, while the males are up tothree centimeters higher. On average, they havefrom 20 to 28 kg. The Braque Saint Germain is a well defined and goodmuscular dog with good physical condition. Authorizedcolors are brown and white. Prohibitedis black. The characteristic of Braque Saint Germain are brown ears and a dark pink nose.Over the body there brown to dots may appear atany site.
