California Milk Processor Board celebrates Three Kings Day with oversized Rosca de Reyes. As a way to pay tribute to the most loved and cherished holiday traditions in the Latino community, the San Clemente, Calif.-based California Milk Processor Board creators of the iconic “got milk?” and Toma Leche campaigns, will reveal the city’s significant Rosca de Reyes, traditionally celebrated on Three Kings Day. The rosca which is sweet bread in the shape of ring decorated with dried and candied fruits will be created especially for the occasion by Porto's Bakery and Café. The candy measures about 24 feet by 2.5 feet, which is a huge place to hold all the record books as Los Angeles' largest-ever Rosca de Reyes. Come along with your family and enjoy a free sample of rosca paired with special milk-based beverages. Kids of all ages can enjoy this celebration for free.

This Pageant welcomes men, women and children to volunteer and be a part of the summer 2018 show, Under the Sun. Kids of any age are welcome to be cast members in the world's most famous presentation of tableaux vivants. Pageant volunteers are also necessary to handle the wardrobe, make up, and headdress departments, plus they require addition volunteers for the cast area coordinators and refreshment servers, among other positions. The advantage of students being a volunteer at the Pageant is that they can earn credit towards community service requirements. This event is recommended for kids of the age 5 and up to volunteer. Does your kid fascinate a lot about the space then do visit The UCLA Collection of Meteorites, it has the largest of collection and contains over 2500 samples from about 1500 different meteorites. It is the fifth largest collection of meteorites in the United States and the second largest housed at a university. The collection includes the main masses of about 40 meteorites and more than 300 meteorites collected from hot deserts whereas 60 of these are iron meteorites. Eighty of these meteorite type specimens are from the state of California. These collections were collected by local citizens during the past few decades. Kids can follow Freddie Fireball and learn some fun and interesting facts about meteorites and the solar system. This event is apt for kids of the 5 and up. The admission is always free.
