Almighty God, you have built your Church on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief cornerstone. Join us together in unity of spirit by their teaching, that we may become a holy temple, acceptable to you; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
Prayer over the Gifts
God of truth, receive all we offer you this day. Make us worthy servants, strong to follow in the pattern of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen.

Parish Thanksgiving Dinner
A Special Dinner to welcome Rev Wayne Parsons and to thank Archdeacon Sandra Tilley will be held on Wednesday, October 9th at 6:30pm in the Parish Hall. This will be a three-course meal consisting of Green Salad, Baked Salmon Dinner, Dessert, tea/coffee. Cost is $20pp. Tickets are available with Vestry members or by calling the Church Office 834-2336.

Today at 4:00 at St. Augustines. Clergy, choirs and congregations are warmly invited to join us at this service.
St. John the Baptist Deanery-Anglican Church Women 2013 Fall Fellowship
St. John the Baptist Deanery-Anglican Church Women 2013 Fall Fellowship will be held at St. Philip's Anglican Church, 20 Coady's Road, Portugal Cove-St. Philips, on Tuesday, October 22nd. We will begin with Holy Eucharist at 7:00 p.m. followed by a short meeting and social. All Clergy and women of the parishes are invited to attend.

Family Life is again this year having the $2.00 Surprise Box Table at the Fall Fair. All those things that you have bought or were given and never used past them on to be sold as a "Surprise Box".
