Over the past 30 years, we have become seasoned veterinary professionals. In Pennsylvania we partnered with another couple; the combined effort grew a practice into a 5,000 square foot facility with a client base of over 13,000. The business remained stable for 28 years until our partners decided to retire. It was then that both parties decided to sell the business in its entirety. This enabled us to relocated and establish a less hectic lifestyle in Colorado.

After settling in Erie 3 years ago, we increasingly perceived a demographic need for another veterinary office in town. Foxtail Pines Veterinary Hospital gradually became a reality.

Foxtail Pines Veterinary Hospital is a full service companion animal hospital located in Erie, Colorado. Our commitment is to provide quality affordable veterinary care throughout the life of your four legged family member. Our veterinary staff truly understands the unique special role your pet plays in your family.

Our facility is not only designed to assist in routine preventative care for healthy pets but also complete medical and surgical services as the need arises. We will treat your pet as we would our own.

Our Foxtail Pines staff is well versed in the education of clients and, most importantly, in maintaining open communication. We will analyze therapeutic options with you and discuss viable, practical options for the healthcare of your family member.

Services

Wellness Visits: It is highly recommended that all pets receive an annual wellness exam. Since their lifespans are shorter than ours, their aging process is accelerated.

Diagnostic and Therapeutic Services: We are fully equipped to handle most medical cases on site.

Surgical Services: Our state of the art surgical suite is equipped to provide full conventional surgery, CO2 laser surgery, basic orthopedic and dental procedures. We utilize the safest available anesthesia techniques available and all patients are visually and electronically monitored during every procedure.

Radiology Services: Fully computerized digital radiology on site provides rapid results for superior imaging of the patient.

Laboratory: Complete in house laboratory enables same day quality chemistries, CBCs, serology, urinalysis, and parasite testing. Commercial veterinary reference laboratory is available for more specialized testing.
