FOUR INTERSTATE DESPERATE AUTO LIFTERS/ ROBBERS ARRESTED:TOTAL 21 VEHICLES RECOVERED
South District Police has apprehended/ arrested four desperate auto lifters and robbers who are wanted in several cases of auto lifting, highway robberies as well as cheating in Haryana, UP and other parts of Northern India. Eleven tractors, six trucks, one Mahindra pickup jeep, one Alto car, one Verna car , one Hyundai I-10 car and one pistol along with three live cartridges were recovered from their possession or their instance. Total 21 robbed/ stolen/ cheated vehicles were recovered from their possession/ instance.
ACCUSED APPREHENDED ARE:
1. Islamuudin S/O Saddiq Ahmed R/O Town & PS :ward no. 6, Punnahana, Distt. Mewat, Haryana. Age – 35 years
2. Mohd. Nassiruddin @ Aarbi S/O Mehboob Ahmed R/O flat no. 27, Jaswant apartment, Okhla Village, Jamia Nagar, Delhi. Age -39 years
3. Mhod. Iqbal S/O Abdul Raseed R/O H.N.-G-67, Abul Fazal Enclave, Jamia Nagar, Delhi. Age-29 years
4. Om Parkash S/O Vasudev R/O Village- Khara Nagaria, PS- Chatta, Distt. Mathura, UP. Age – 24 years.
TEAM AND INCIDENT:
A secret information was received in the office of special staff through reliable informer that several auto lifters and highway robbers who had robbed / stolen tractors, trucks, JCB and car are roaming in the area of south Distt. to disposed off the stolen vehicles . on this information a team of special staff South District consisting of Inspector Vijay Singh, I/C Special Staff, SIs Jeet Singh, Sanjeev Kumar, Surender Dahiya, Aishvir,ASIs Ashok Kumar, Gaynender Singh HCs Vijay Kumar, Bir Singh, Shiv Kumar, Shailesh, Roop Singh, Phool Singh,Sheo Ram,Ramesh, Cts Raghubir, Ashok, Rajbir, Mahinder and Driver ASI Mahinder Singh under the supervision of Shri K.S. Bhatnagar, ACP/operation south district was formed. The team so formed on 21/01/2009 laid trap on Mehrauli Mahipal Pur road near Rangpuri Pahari CNG pump and apprehended the accused person Isllamudin after a brief encounter one pistol of ‘Indian Ordinance Factory’ along with three live cartridges’and One fired cartridge were recovered from his possession and one Hundi I-10 car also recovered. Accordingly a case vide FIR no.’s 24/09 u/s 186/353/307 IPC & 25 A.Act PS Vasant Kunj was registered. Acting upon the tips provided by the accused Islamudin and on secret information the team so formed apprehended three persons namely Mohd. Nassiruddin @ Arbai, Mohd. Iqbal and Omparkash above while they were in possession of a stolen Hyundai Verna car stolen from the area of PS Palam Vihar, Gurgaon. Accordingly a case vide FIR no. 42/09 dated 27/01/2009 u/s 411/482/34 IPC PS Sarojini Nagar was registered.
INTERROGATION
During sustained interrogation in police custody remand, accused Isllamudin revealed that he is the member/receiver of active robbers gang who committed the road robberies. He along with his members robbed tractors and trucks from the area of Haryana, Rajasthan and UP and other parts of country, sold them to one Arbi who further sold these through their agents in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana. One English Pistol with 3 live cartridge one Hyundai I-10 car and one TATA truck has been recovered from his possession/ instance.
During sustained interrogation of Mohd. Nassiruddin @ Arbai revealed that he received the stolen/ robbed tractors, trucks, JCB and other vehicles from Isslamudin/ other agents and sold these vehicles through his agents in the area of Delhi, UP, Punjab and other parts of northern India. He also disclosed the unique modus operandi that through his agent he obtained tractors and JCB on rent for three years from the area of Mewat and made proper agreements regarding this with the owner. After that he sold these vehicles in the other part of northern India through his agents on cheaper rates. He disclosed that he disposed off approx. about 350 vehicles through his agents/ associates. 5 tractors, 3 trucks, one Mahindra Pickup Van, and one Alto car was recovered from his instance.
During interrogation accused Iqbal disclosed that he is working with Aarbi as a driver and he help Aarbi to obtained the tractors on the agreement basis and also helped him to disposed off the same. Two trucks, three tractors were recovered from his instance/ possession.
During interrogation accused omparkash disclosed that he is a active member of this gang he mainly received the stolen/ robbed vehicles ( Tractors ) from Aarbi and disposed those vehicles with the help of his agents. He disclosed that he disposed about 70 tractors through his agents. Three stolen/ robbed tractors recovered from his possession / instance.
PROFILE:
Accused Islamuddin is previously involved in several cases of murder, robbery etc. as mentioned below and basic resident of Town and PS Punhana Distt. Mewat, Haryana. Accused Arbi had earlier been arrested in a cheating case in 2004 at PS S.N. Puri, Delhi. Accused Omprakash is receiver to Aarbi and had received more than 50 tractors so far.

PROSTITUTION RACKET INVOLVING INDIAN AND UZBEK NATIONALS BUSTED. TWO ARRESTED, PASSPORTS RECOVERED
INTRODUCTION
The South District Police has arrested two persons of a gang running a prostitution racket in Delhi, in which girls are brought from abroad for the purpose of flesh trade.
ACCUSED ARRESTED ARE
1) Rajnish Sharma @ Aryan, age 31 years S/o Colonel J.R. Sharma R/o 578, Sanskrit Apartment, Sector-19B, Dwarka, Delhi.
2) Umidda Devanova, age 37 years W/o Rajnish Sharma R/o 578, Sanskrit Apartment, Sector-19B, Dwarka, Delhi.
INCIDENT & TEAM
On the basis of the complaint of one Tawus Mohammed Nurowa, 31 year female Turkmenistan national a case was registered u/s 376/386/420/342/323/120B/34 IPC and section 5 ITP Act dated 17.12.2008 in PS Defence Colony. A team was constituted under the supervision of Sh. Vikramjeet Singh, ACP/Defence Colony which consisted of Inspr. J.S. Mehta, SIs Pramod Joshi, V.N. Sammi, HC Jai Singh and others. On the night of 20/21 December, 2008 a raid was conducted to nab the accused however the main accused Rajnish Sharma managed to flee. His wife Umidda was arrested on 21st December 2008. After concerted efforts Rajnish @ Aryan was arrested on 16.01.2009. The third main accused in the case is another Uzbek national named Intizor @ Laila who is still on the run.
INVESTIGATION
On interrogation of Umidda it was revealed that the accused are running an international prostitution racket in which girls are called from Central Asian Republics and erstwhile Republics of the Soviet Union on the pretext of starting up a business in the area of fashion, garment design and modelling. But once they land in India their passports are taken away from them. Since they are new to the place and donot understand the local language they are helpless without the accused who are well settled in India and conversant in English, Hindi and Russian. These girls are then forced into the flesh trade. The passport of the complainant Tawus was recovered from Umedda. Tawus had landed in India on 14th June 2008 with a visa which was valid till 26th June only. However, she was made to over stay and work as a prostitute for almost 6 months. Then she approached the local police but was not able to properly communicate. A translator was therefore arranged by the police and her complaint was taken down and the case registered.
On interrogation of Rajnish it was further revealed that he was running a taxi business but all his vehicles were being used for picking up and dropping these girls from their places of stay to various five star hotels where they would meet their clients. He also disclosed that he got married to Umidda so that she could carry on staying in India without any problem and continue to procure girls from abroad at a rate of approx. 3000 US Dollars per girl. Typically, all such girls who come on tourist visas stay for a period for 3-6 months and these kingpins are able to earn upto 40000-50000 US Dollars out of every victim.
Rajnish also got his cousin married to Umidda’s sister Ilmira to get her settled in India. On this ground they also apply for a PIO (Person of Indian Origin) Card to settle in India permanently. He further disclosed that whenever there was police pressure they would get the visas of the girls regularised/extended and make them exit India. In the present case also it has come to light that atleast one girl namely Raykhan @ Nika has left India in the recent past.
He has disclosed that there are atleast three more such modules active in Delhi and NCR Region. Each gang has about 8 to 10 girls working for them.The most notable point is that for the first time a victim hailing from these erstwhile Soviet Republics has complained against a fellow national and revealed the details of this flourishing and lucrative sex racket.
PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENT
These girls including Laila have been arrested once in Manali vide FIR No. 21/08 u/s 14 Foreigners Act dated 27.01.2008, PS Manali. Rajnish @ Aryan was the surety of Laila who has jumped the bail.

South East District Police has recovered two minor girls namely Anu age about 9 years and her sister Kavita age about 5years (name changed) from Patna Bihar after making exceptional efforts to trace them.
INCIDENT AND TEAM
Mr.Ramnath Mandal reported on 22/11/08 that her two daughters have been kidnapped and also raised suspicion over the neighbor Mrs. Namita and her two daughters.A special team consisting of SI Ashok Giri, HC Ramdev, Ct.jaiveer, Ct.Jeet singh and Ct Rajesh under the leadership of Inspector Veer Singh SHO/Govindpuri and supervision of ACP/Kalji Sh.RAkesh Paweriya has been formed to trace the girls. On the complaint of father , a case vide FIR No. 85/08 dated 22-11-08 U/s 363 IPC was registered at PS Govind Puri.
INVESTIGATION AND INTERROGATION
During the course of investigation, it is learnt that Mr. Ramnath is the step-father of the kidnapped girls and the Biological father of the girls is Mr. Laxaman who hails from Bihar and living & working in Gurgoan and the Mother is Mrs. Kavita who hails from West Bengal. Nowadays, Mother Babita is residing with Ramnath in Tuglakabad area hiding herself from her previous husband. On the basis of the suspicion, these two girls and her parents were thoroughly interrogated at length. Trained Psychologists and Counselors were also engaged to find out the clues in this case but no breakthrough could be achieved. Hue & cry Notice published and pasted in NCR region, telecast on Cable TV, photographs were published in News Papers and pamphlets delivered , hand bills through different hawkers, particularly in the morning news papers were distributed . After exhausting all the possible steps to trace the girls, the members of the teams were fully motivated and directed to make all out efforts in tracing out the girls. The team members, on the basis of the efforts made by them, worked on different angles and realized that these girls may conceal their identity by changing their name and parentage. After considering this fact, the members of the said team started a marathon drill to verify the identity of kidnapped girls in NCR region i.e. Delhi, Gurgoan, Faridabad, Noida, G.Noida, Ghaziabad etc. On this theory, the team members found two girls of the same age group but different names and parentage were sent to Patna Children home from Nirmal Chhaya Children home Delhi. A team was immediately rushed to Patna to verify these girls and on verification these girls are found same girls. These two girls stated that they left their house voluntarily due to maltreatment by her mother and step-father.
